Not worth it
*update 7/18/24*I lowered the rating to 1 star. The water is even more yellow and there is gunk floating in it now. Doesn’t cool the room off AT ALL and actually makes it more humid. It’s too later to return it, so we are stuck with it, but after summer is over it’s going straight into the trash.*update 7/14/24*The water is yellow in the little plastic tub where you fill it with water. And I see now way to be able to remove the tub to clean it. It’s kinda gross actually. This is essentially a rectangular fan. Yes, it comes with ice packs, but they do nothing to cool off a room.I got this for the room my daughter’s computer in since the air in our house is garbage. She can feel the air hitting her, from the fun function, but the room never cools off.The wheels don’t turn very well either once you put the water in it. But we have a laminate wood floor so that doesn’t affect anything too much. The water lasts a lot longer than I thought it would. I fill it once in the morning and once in the early evening. The remote works great but only if it’s pointing directly at the unit.

Works GREAT in the right climate.
I live in Colorado, which has a very dry climate, where these kinds of evaporative coolers work quite well. So much so that our home does not have traditional AC but a large evaporative cooler on the roof. It is very important to consider your climate when purchasing one of these. If you live someplace humid, very little water will evaporate inside the cooler as there is already a lot of moisture in the air that surrounds you, so it will not sufficiently cool the air that it blows out into the room. If you live someplace with relatively dry air, this cooler will make a dramatic difference. This unit is compact but has a powerful turbine fan that can easily move the air in a 200 sq ft room. It is easy to fill and has a generously sized tank that will go for over 12 hours. I purchased one and liked it so much that I purchased another a few weeks later—so I obviously highly recommend these.

Not worth it unless really desperate.
I got this expecting it to last at least to the end of the summer but it is not looking good. Had it for less than a month and it stinks now when it blows air from the water and the pump randomly stops working. Way too much cleanup required and upkeep. Recommend looking for something better. Plus, it does not cool that well unless you have ac as well.

It's not an air conditioner even though thats the name
It is an air cooler grandmother got this for me thinking it was an air conditioner its not, does cool the house off a bit but ice packs only last about 3 hours and take about 6hours to refreeze although it does come with four which is nice. In the description as well as in the instruction manual it says you can pour the water in the top so you don't have to bend over and yet when I tried it spilled out the back. It also claimed you can take the bottom tub out to refill it that way but there is a water pump inside the bucket that you feel like you're going to break. 10/10 do not recommend. And my grandmother is very upset about the false advertisement especially since this week has been in the 100's and I'm without an ac unit.

Broken after 3 days - poor quality - don’t buy
I had high hopes. It worked well for the first two days and then on the third it started leaking water from a corner. It is poorly made and not worth it and now I have the hassle of having to package and return it. Save your self the hassle and expense and don’t buy this poor quality product.

Don't expect this to cool rooms, but it is a good fan.
You have to replace the ice inside of it and it melts really fast. You have to fill it up with water. With just the regular fan mode in my hot garage it blows about 77 degrees, with the AC mode turned on it blows about 75 degrees which is not much of a difference. It's basically a colder fan. Things are pricey so I understand that it had to be $115 but basically this thing is a coldish fan. It's loud so I wouldn't recommend putting it next to you while you sleep. If you have a remote computer job this is would be of pretty good use to you. It's about 2 feet tall, and it has a nice design to it.

Don’t buy!
This seemed like a great idea. However, it is poorly designed. You have to pour water into a drawer that does not come out all the way. I left water in the drawer for 2 weeks and mold developed. It was so difficult to clean! And honestly—not worth it because it didn’t have strong airflow and didn’t really cool a small room down. It’s better to just use a $10 box fan than this. I threw my out. Total waste of money.
