The best iron ever
We'd already had one of these irons and once you have had one with a separate steam tank you wouldn't go back to an ordinary iron. My only one criticism of this machine is that the 'max' water level isn't very clear to see when you fill the water tank up.That said: these are wonderful. They get creases out of clothes like no ordinary iron does, they deliver quite a lot of very hot steam and make ironing everything so easy - the iron does the work rather than you having to press so idea for someone with a bad back etc. (Although they are more cumbersome/heavier to put away). They make light work of clothes that have been dried in a tumble drier, and they also make clothes look like new, flattening the nap when things start to rub up with wear. You also don't get the shiny look when certain fabrics are ironed. As if that wasn't enough, you can also use them to vertical steam, so if you've got a jacket for example that's creased or smells of smoke etc after a night out, you can put it on a hanger and steam it. Watch your fingers! Gets rid of creases and freshens up dry clean only things. I bought this one because it's got an auto-descale which my previous one didn't. The old one had to be rinsed out and shook to get the limescale out which is not that easy a job. The descale function is so much easier, it automatically cleans itself out when it comes on and you just empty the dirty water and scale from a separate tank. Can you tell that I like it?

Very Good Iron
This steam iron is very good. My one complaint is that the descaling light is very sensitive. The water quality in my area is very good but if I don’t ignore that light, I could be descaling every week. I would also add that the descaling process is very cumbersome. You need an Allen key and then you need to take the entire iron to the bathroom to rinse it.

High for shorter people
This is our fourth steam generator iron, we’ve had one Tefal and two Phillips. Overall this is quite a good machine, relatively straightforward to operate and produces a good level of steam. However it is let down by some small issues. The generator is quite high which means when the iron is sitting on the rest it’s high to use comfortably, to the degree that my shoulder aches after some time ironing. The temperature light is in the back of the hand grip so you can’t actually see it without twisting the iron around to face you. The way the sole plate is attached to the iron means when you iron back towards you the sole plate catches on any raised points like pockets. Apart from these points it’s OK and quite good value.

Morphy Richards steam generated iron
This is the second Morphy Richards steam Elite generated iron i have bought. my last one lasted at least 10 years can't remember exactly but this is why i have bought another one. This is almost the same as my last one but has a few updated buttons but basically the same. This iron doesn't clean its self , you have to shake it upside down to get the scale out, via a bolted hole on the bottom of the unit . This up dated version locks the iron so is much easier shake. It will not do any one who doesn't have much strength in the arms. My last one lasted so long to because i only used deionised water and nothing else! Do Not Use Descaler!!!The plus for this iron is its powerful boost , it makes everything look good but cuts the time so much you can get more double the amount done, it a breeze. You will wonder how you ever managed with a normal iron. I had this style of generator iron when they first came out and i can't recommend them enough. However i do have to say having tried several brands i now wouldn't buy any other than Morphy Richards now , for me they have passed the test of durability and longevity.I don't know how but i got this on timed deal so it was really good value for money. Even at its normal price its nearly a hundred quid cheaper than Argos , so whats not to like!I can from my heart really recommend this iron, it is a revolution for women and the Morphy Richards do the best!

Lighter than our previous Morphyrichards iron
Easy to use, good steam for crease removal and iron locks on the unit for carrying. Lighter than the previous iron of similar model. Very pleased with the purchase.

Good press but cleaning bit is too fiddly as you needs to use wrench or key

Does the job well at a good price.
At first I thought this iron wasn’t going to be as good as my old Bosch. The handle is slightly wider but has posed no problem and the iron glides over clothes really well with the extra steam lever being so easy to use. It is very economical whereas water is concerned and the water reservoir is large. I have used part ionised water because of living in a hard water area - the reason my last iron didn’t last!! The overall unit is slightly heavier but I leave it to cool properly before moving. Plenty of lead too.I only gave this product an initial four stars because like most irons - it looks a pain to clean. There is a descale indicator which hasn’t come on yet so haven’t really found out how hard or easy this is. I’m very pleased with it.

Brilliant
This is probably the best iron I have had .. cuts ironing in half time as I do ironing each day for 5 hours so I need a good iron I can rely on and this does not split or dirty lime scale & doesn’t need scale so often as other irons .. So hope this helps who ever needs a reliable iron .absolutely Brilliant 👍🏽
