Good value for money
TL;DR: highly recommend. Costs a fraction of the price of a big name brand, but great for the home baker.Liked:- Powerful: managed with pizza dough (500g of flour, didn't try larger yet). Operated for 10 mins and didn't seem to overheat or something.- Good silicon pedal for cakes: scraped the sides properly. Thought the batter got above it a bit (needed some scraping from the top of the bowl).- Very quiet: had a very noisy one before, this is really nice.- Good size bowl and the handle was handy addition. The bottom of the bowl is solid so no liquid trapped when cleaned in the dishwasher.Didn't like:- The plastic cover to prevent splatter is not fully sealed (no lid for the pouring opening). It is also just mounted with nothing holding it in place.- I didn't put the pedal and dough hook in the dishwasher as I saw issues with it turning black. I had a similar issue with my previous mixer, so I avoided this. Having said that - it is relatively easy to clean.

Brilliant mixer, especially for the price!!
I got this to make pizza dough and it smashed it out the park! Great dough and zero effort. Have made cookies and whipped some cream and only had it a few days! Settings 6 is manic!! Can't wait to make loads more stuff.A few things just to mention; she is a beast! She's a whopper!! Not an issue if you've room, but bigger than I was expecting (obvs I didn't look at measurements before I bought it, who does?!). I have included a photo of it next to a pint glass for scale. I did specifically choose it because it had the largest bowl, but man it's huge.I don't know what the finish is like on the other colors but I got it in silver and whilst it looks lovely I suspect the watermarks left on the outside of the bowl after washing it are going to be a pain to keep buffing off. Finally, when it's plugged in, the bowl is in place and the top down (ie its parked and ready to go) the blue LED on the power wheel lights up, so I have to keep it off at the socket or else it flashes blue ALL THE TIME. No worries if your plug socket is right there, however if you've got it plugged in somewhere fiddly or low down or in a cupboard or hidden or wherever, it could become a bit of a ball ache. All in all I'm super impressed with this mixer especially for the price!Oh one more thing it's kind of left handed. As a righty I would way prefer the controls on the left and the bowl on the right, as that's the side you're adding ingredients in to. Bit backwards for me but not a massive issue, just an FYI

Perfect
It's been a few months since I bought it, and I'm still so happy with this mixer. I have no criticisms at all. I make scones, bread, cakes, cookies and other desserts with it. Unfortunately for my arteries, it has improved my baking efficiency so much! It looks nice, the highest speed is extremely powerful while the low speeds provide high variety, the different attachments are all uniquely useful, it has a splash guard, and it is very easy to clean. Honestly, maybe one day I'll try a KitchenAid and see what all the fuss is about, but for now I can't imagine anything better than this and I'm happy with that.

it works
So this mixer is a lot lighter than expected for a 1500w mixer. It worked well and did the job as expected.Easy enough to use and sticks well to the work top when in use.It was quiet enough in use so hoping it will last.

Value for Money - Very Impressed
I also own a Kitchenaid Artisan. I love the Kitchenaid, but I have to say that value for money the Heska is incredibly good. The obvious difference is build quality. The kitchenaid is a heavy metal beast that could easily be used as an anchor on most small sailboats. The Heska is much lighter and made of plastic. This is perfectly understandable given the cost difference. Whereas the Kitchenaid has its weight to keep it stable, the Heska uses suction cup feet, which do a great job of holding the machine in place while it does its thing. Currently I have only whisked (at full speed) so I have not yet tested it with the dough hook but I have been very impressed with the machines operation, build quality and functionality so far. If you don't want to spend too much then I would look no further. Very impressive.

So happy Large/strong/good price
Absolutely amazing for bread making! I am making bread for my large family every day with this! I use 1300g of flour plus seeds for bread dough and even with THAT big amount of stuff it kneads the dough perfectly ! I might have to hold the machine down a bit on full speed but that’s totally fine. I am obviously overfilling it by far and so a little bit of flour spills out when we first start mix. When I use only 750g of flour, which is your normal size recipe, it doesn’t spill. It makes the most amazing sponge cake and fluffiest muffins! With the silicone pedal you get all the dough out of the big bowl. We also made amazing meringue and super thick whipped cream ! It looks amazing and is unbelievable strong ! Such a great price ! I am not sorry that I didn’t go for kitchen aid!

Great mixer.
Not a bad mixer at all. Use to have a Kenwood prospero and after 6 years it died. I'm a avid baker but needed to get a decent but affordable mixer. Looked into many and this kept popping up. It's very sturdy even though plastic body. I love the handle on the bowl, that's by the way, a decent size (kenwood was a 4.3 ltr so smaller) and the beaters reach to the bottom. The sides still need scraping with the normal paddle beater but with the beater with scraper it works great, albeit it does shake the mixer slightly due to touching the bowl. It's fairly quiet. Overall I'd recommend it. Not used the dough hook yet. So can't comment on that, but looks robust and decent.
