I just order those almonds unfortunately smaller size to try it and I already regret it that I didn't order bigger...absolutely delicious...so definitely worth every pence

How and why did chocolate brazils become so expensive? They are lovely though, and made a good present.

The only thing I don’t like about these cocoa dusted almonds is the price- but I dislike the price quite a lot. It’s the cocoa dusted almonds I’m reviewing here, not any of the slightly more exotic sounding combinations under the same product heading, and perhaps that’s the problem, because they’re all priced nearly identically, but of the set, the almonds are the least interesting- and, by weight, normally the least expensive compared to the other nuts. The combination of cocoa dusting and almond is very familiar from other brands, and as such it didn’t feel like much of a rare treat. The quality can’t be denied though. There’s a lovely texture to the almonds, which are generally on the large side and which have just the right amount of crunch to them and haven’t been either roasted into dryness nor allowed to go too soft. The cocoa dusting is just the right thickness, and it’s slightly powdery but falls short of leaving cocoa powder all over your fingers. It’s certainly a high quality product, and if I weren’t taking the value-for-money into consideration, this would be a five star review for sure. But ultimately I can get some very nice, posh-brand cocoa-dusted nuts from our nearest supermarket at a price that works out at less than half the current price of these nuts, by volume. So I have to mark it down for price, despite very very much enjoying the taste. In our household this 280g pot isn’t going to last long.

After 'Just Brazils' dropped off the face of the earth these Pajoux alternatives are probably better than the originals. Quality packaging too!!

With all the rave reviews on here and Trustpilot, I expected something interesting. Instead I can only describe the experience as bland, the chocolate having no character, creaminess nor flavour: the almonds similarly lacking in the ability to taste like almonds, yet managing to leave a slight bitter aftertaste. One is also left with a waxy mouthfeel, the roof of the mouth coated with something like a vegetable oil and far from the promised "velvet" is more like licking out the air-fryer after making chips. As I've sat here writing this, the aftertaste has become distinctly unpleasant - I've no idea how they can charge £12 for something you couldn't even get kids to eat. Feel like a fool for paying for these.

Value for money, partner loves them. Size 180g. Good quality. Almonds coated in cocoa powder. Looks classy on the side, gives the impression of a good quality item, which they are. Taste lovely
