These are the same weight of paper you'd find in a traditional file folder or jacket (the ones sealed on the sides), but with the top flap. The real benefit to these is that the top flap intrinsically keeps everything inside. These are great for storing travel receipts (road warriors who are tracking multiple travel engagements at any one time will really like them), keeping client documents together, storing tax records... and all without everything dumping out everywhere if you accidentally nudge the folder off the table! Add a piece of tape, and you have a pretty good archival folder, too. Admittedly they're a little pricey compared to the regular folders and jackets, but we don't use them for every single filing need either, so the one box will go a long way.

These are everything you want from an up scale office product for a mid-level price. They do not hold many pages if you are using the proper weight for legal documents but they are what you need for the long haul that comes with anything legal.
