It kinda works.
It is bigger than a regular 48p 83t. It came as a 48p 86 tooth that’s bigger circumference than a standard plastic 48p 86 tooth. Only way to fit it in the Traxxas slash was to reduce the pinion gear. In turn makes it slower by 2/3 speed.

Tougher than plastic
I'm sure it's more durable but it's bigger than the 86 tooth that came with my Rustler. How is that possible? They're supposedly the same tooth pitch. I cannot adjust the motor any further to accommodate the stock pinion gear. It fits, just barely.
