11-1/2" spring type tube benders
These spring type tube benders were selected because they were approximately 3" longer than competitors' length of 8-1/2" inches. These spring type benders were used to re-route a 10ft section at the end of a 3/8" copper tubing oil line. The source valve was turned off and residual oil was drained from the line. A 10ft. section of 1/4" diameter, sst stranded wire was inserted into the inside diameter of the 3/8" copper tubing to be re-routed, leaving an inch or so of the 1/4" sst wire exposed for easy extraction later on. This cable was inserted to afford more protection against the 3/8" copper tubing from crimping. The 10ft section of 3/8" copper tubing was successfully rolled up into a 12 inch diameter roll to get around obstacles, unrolled and re-routed as planned. The 1/4" diameter, sst stranded wire was easily extracted. I'd buy this 11-1/2" long spring type tube benders again!

Something you should know
Now before I start, I’m not bashing the seller or the creator of this product. I’m simply going to infor and educate those who would want to purchase this product. We all wanted to use these benders to bend copper pipes (me specifically as an HVAC tech bending the larger pipes 3/4” or 7/8”) The idea of these springs work, however because of the way the product has to be designed in order to be effective, it has severe limitations. * if you have even a single nick in your copper line, it changes the shape of the copper line slightly and the spring will not slide past that point. * If you are bending the copper tube or line set more than slightly, it is extremely difficult to remove the spring off of the pipe. Remember I’m not bashing the creator or seller, but due to these limitations it makes the product practically worthless and a giant waste of money. - Be warned

Very easy to use
These tools make bending today copper very easy. Has problems with the 7/8" copper but overall good for the price

Slides right on with a tight fit. Blends soft copper tubing with no kinks if you go slow. Very happy with this time saver.
