VonHaus Oscillating Tower Fan - 31” Upright Cooling Fan for Home or Office I have read quite a few other reviews that say this fan is loud and makes a clicking noise, I have to say they have to be faulty fans (during transit or otherwise) as mine is quite quiet. I actually expected it to be louder due to the price. It has 3 different levels of speed and a timer - the timer could have been designed much better, in fact it would probably been harder to make it any worse, but i hardly use it so do not mind too much. I use mine in the living room and have to say with things like the TV on and background people talking you can not even hear the fan. It sits in the corner of the room and can feel the breeze from about 10 feet away. The oscillation is well within my needs of covering most of the room. The height being 31" is probably the minimum and Tower fan can be, any shorter and it should not be called a tower fan in my opinion, it is much shorter than previous tower fans I have purchased, but still does the job especially when sitting down .

It's a very quiet fan, so good for night time. Airflow is ok, good size and reasonable quality although I didn't get any screws to fix it onto the base.

Fan not too noisy, easy to use and keeps me cool. Now have two of these and just hope they last as long as my previous one

After using it for some time, it's about what I'd expect for the price. It came obviously used/repackaged as the cable was wrapped poorly and not where it was meant to be along with being a bit dirty, but didn't want to deal with returning if it worked well. The vonhaus is pretty loud at any setting but especially at max, to the point where it's a bit hard to tune it out when watching something but not impossible and I probably couldn't sleep with it on. The airflow isn't the best, but it's a tower fan so it's meant for distributing air in a whole room. In comparison to other fans, I only have an £80 dreo (£20 goes to app features so essentially £60) and a £20 argos desk fan. Compared to my dreo, it's probably about 3-4x louder for the same air flow and about 1/4 as fast when both are at max. As for a basic desk fan, it's louder for the same air flow if you just want directed air flow. It does feel about the same quality as most generic £20-30 tower fans so it's honestly fine. Overall, it's an adequate tower fan as long as it doesn't come used but if it's on offer and you get a new one then you'll probably be happy with it.

Good flow of air BUT this device has a manual timer and sounds like an old school egg timer, ticking until the timer runs out. Annoyingly even if you do not want the timer function and just use manually it still ticks constantly even in the box before being plugged in. Sorry drove me bonkers within 10 mins and returned.

Great fan for the price. I bought it for an elderly family member. Easy to use, sturdy and effective. Space saving in a room. I gave it a four star as the small front tray for aromatic oils showed no extra benefit and I could not smell anything but would definitely recommend this product.
