Firm But Classy
This chair is huge! I love it and it completes our living room nicely. It’s very firm but it’s a good firm. Instructions were very simple to understand took me about an hour to put together. Love the side pockets! Haven’t tested out the sleeping part of it but I’m sure it’s quite comfy for watching a movie with a full house of people :D

Surprisingly great chair!
I was a bit skeptical to buy furniture from Amazon. When I saw this chair, I went on a whim and bought it because I wanted a bright colored chair. Shipping took a while, but was within the expected delivery date. It came in two packages. Assembly wise I had the same issues as other people and was really frustrated to the point where I just wanted to chuck it out the window. After a bit of calming tea and some meditation, I regained myself, got someone to help and all was good again. This is an amazing statement piece! Definitely eye catching. The fabric is bright, a little rough, but not uncomfortable. The seat is very wide and the cushion is pretty firm which is what I wanted. The backrest has 3 settings for upright, beach chair laid back, and all the down. The "ottoman" is super easy to pull out with the rollers and easy to lift it into place. The only downside is once it's pulled out, I cannot push it back in unless I lift up the side that's stuck. It's not meant to do be like that and note that I did install it correctly.I've only had this for 2 months but I really love it. Only time can tell if the chair would soften up, which I don't want. Overall, great chair!

Buy a 3" thick cot pad! Cot pad is 28" wide. Fits perfectly! Dark grey color is nice.
I wanted an attractive twin sofa bed with ARMS for my small living room. I also wanted the head portion to be where the bed folds, NOT fold in the middle of one's back!! This product fits my needs perfectly. I keep it fully extended in low upright position, and use the huge tufted pillow supplied under my knees, as I enjoy reclining and take pressure off my back. I have a small squishable cat bed under the extended sofa. This is great and out of the way. The sofa is hard and not cushy at all. I find this not a problem as I will buy a 3" thick cot pad. The cot pad is 28" wide and fits perfectly across the sofa bed. (Twin size pad is too wide) The arms are nicely padded, and I have pretty velvet rectangle toss pillows on the inside of each arm to fill the space before the arms. I weigh 160 lbs., I would not want anyone over say 200 lbs. on it, and it is not for kids to be jumping into or on it! I want it to last . It is TOTALLY what I wanted and am very pleased with it!! Oh yeah, comes in 3 boxes. 1 box came and 2 arrived within a week from the first one. Look for the legs and hardware in the black zippered compartment! !

Do not buy!
Purchased this chair to mostly use as a sleeper for house guests. Arrived in three boxes and assembly was easy. One of the arm rest panels had a 2" tear in the fabric that the company put a loose patch on that fell off as soon as I opened the box. The tear was well hidden once assembled so I gave it a shot. The cushions are very stiff which is not terrible as a chair. The big problem was trying to use it as a sleeper. The metal box frame has two cross bars that dig into your hip and shoulder when laying on it and makes it extremely uncomfortable. Several of the reviews I read before purchasing said they used a mattress pad to make it more comfortable but it would take another thin mattress to keep from feeling the frame bars. Even a 90 pound teenager could not sleep on it with a padded mattress topper. I attempted to return the item since it said FULL refund in 30 days on the items listing but the company said I would have to pay for the expensive shipping and a 20% re-stocking fee. When I requested a copy of their return policy since it appeared different than the one listed with the product they just offered me a $20 discount and said since it was too expensive to ship that I should try to sell it myself. Repeated attempts to return the item for a full refund were refused by AECOJOY-US. Bottom line, the chair/sleeper is cheaply made, VERY uncomfortable, arrived with some damage and the companies customer service is non-existent.

Took a risk on this - am happy
Took a risk on this as the reviews were mixed. Overall I'm very happy. The chair is pretty and seems solid (granted I haven't been jumping on it and my guests who have used it weighed 225 pounds or less). Have had it for a few months now and so far so good.Assembly was straight forward. I have seen some comments about needing to drill holes due to misalignment of parts and I'm wondering if they simply were installing certain parts backward. Not sure. But mine at least went together easily enough. As far as quality of materials - it seems ok. I'm 6 foot, 300 pounds and I have avoided really using it for myself based on reviews about it not being very sturdy (it is more for guests who are spending the night etc.) but it does hold my weight while sitting on it in the regular chair position (I haven't lied on it as a bed myself, although people that are in the 225 pound range have and they haven't had any issues, said it was reasonably comfortable, etc.)Overall, I think for a room where you don't want a dedicated bed but need something in case people come over it is a very good value. Even for someone skinny / small who needs a convertible sleeper (I'm thinking a college student living in a studio apt. etc.) it could work daily use.
