Good machine!
Good stick welder at a great price. It doesnt disappoint. I havent welded with it a lot, but so far test welds look good. Open circuit volts is 75vdc on 240AC input. Works better than i expected really. The weld leads are 10 feet long 25mm, (~4awg) soft insulation fine strand and use dinse style plugs. The power cord plug fits 6-50R. The quality appears to be above average. Looks good and works good.Photo is using 1/8" 6011 at 130A on 240v. It is a mower blade and penetration nearly goes through. The 160A setting burned through immediately.

Performs beyond expectations for the money spent!
Is true, this welder performed beyond my expectations. Never welded with 6011 or 6018 rod before, but this welder has plenty of arc voltage to burn 1/8" rod in both 7018 and 6011. Once can get stability in 3/32" 6011 rod, can get decent weld beads. Best part of it all, it welds without missing a beat on my 5600watt continuous generator that is like new but is about 14yrs old. Only issue with this welder is that it tries to weld with the maximum 160 amps on 110/120v current when the electronics should be limiting it to 120amps at most on 110/120v. Was running my welder with power from my 240V twistlock outlet on the generator with a special adapter cord. Other than that, need to upgrade the electrode holder as the one that comes with this welderis very very cheap. But that is to be expected in a budget machine. Other than that, no other complaints. And it ran 1/8" 7018 rod at 125amps with no problemd snd produced a very nice bead, and I'm very new to stick welding. That is saying something for this machine. If a rookie like me can make good beads with it, a professional welder can do really good beads with it.

Takes a little practice
Good welder, it works but takes a little practice could be just me. I went to welding trade school years ago and arc welded day after day for a year but did mostly mig when I went to work. Its been years but I am not a novice with arc and it took a few practice welds to get going with this. Overall works good. Good coverage of thickness of materials you can weld. A good light machine for around the house. It will weld on 15 amp 110v for a while but I did notice it would pop the breaker once in a while if I was running long beads. I bought 20 feet of heavy wire can't remember the gauge I used, sorry but its the heavy round black wire from Homedepot. I think it was 10 gauge and made an extension cord for 220v. I plug this into my dryer outlet if I am doing a lot of welding or heavier gauge welding with 1/8th rod. Something to keep in mind if you want to use it on 220. Welders have their own plug style. So what I did was bought a male dryer plug and a female welder plug to make the extension cord. You will need to do something like this unless you have a 220v welding outlet already. I would buy again.

There is something loose inside
I received this item just yesterday and was very excited about it until I opened it and heard a noise like if something like a screw is rolling inside. It may be something that fell inside the unit during assembly or it may be a part that was left unassembled. Can't take the risk to plug it and turn in on.

50/100
doesent have any power on 120v to weld, almost impossible to weld on 120v. 230v is needed

Good functional welder.
Nice packaging. Good looking leads. A little weak on 110. Really good with 3/32 rod. Both 6011 and 7018 are good. Must keep a very close arc but with practice it's easy. I think it's worth what is for light duty work. Not industrial rod lead but grips well.

Love my welder!
This little welder works awesome! I just wish it were more compact like other similar welders. I bought this because it was the only welder of this capacity, function, and price range with long leads and the option to switch plugs. Size really is my only quibble, this welder has great penetration, overall, great.

Powerful machine
Very impressed with this machine! I haven’t ran it on 220v but it done an excellent job with 110v power. I ran some 7018 and 6011, 3/32 rods with no problems. If your looking for a hobby welder or just one to have around the garage this is the best option. Great welder!
