I wanted to fit a new storage shed with wheels so it could be moved for maintenance purposes occasionally, but I wanted to ensure the wheels would take the weight and stand the test of time. I always over engineer so I chose these 4400 lb wheels to be safe and was impressed as soon as they arrived, by both the weight and also the visible quality of manufacture. The wheels are a wide roller style which gives a wider footprint to the floor and helps distribute the weight and also are not too tall as I didn't want the shed lifting too much. The bearings inside the rollers run smooth and the 4 hole fixing plate and wheel frame are are of steel thick enough for the job. Additionally each wheel has it's own brake for convenience if you can't get to some wheels once fitted. Although the wheels come with fixing nuts and bolts, for my application I used my own rawlbolts into the wooden frame but it's a nice touch to supply them. They have been fitted to my shed now for some time and although they don't move often, they work perfectly, the brake is firm keeping the shed solidly in place but releases easily and moves freely when required. As you can see from the photo's they are used on a flat level flagged patio area outside. I have been completely satisfied with the fast delivery and service life so far.

These low profile castor wheels take a huge weight, move freely. They are made from thick steel plate and the composite castors are tough and wide.

Seem to do the job. I used these for putting wheels on a fabricated Olympic weight plate rack. I welded them on directly, seem to be very stout. They came with 4.8 rated bolts, pretty cheap and soft for the price, didn't bother me as they went straight in the bin. But 8.8 would have been nice to see for the price of these castors. Obviously with just over 200kg on these, the small diameter makes the thing hard to move around, but they do work and I wanted the 50mm castors to keep the height down. So not a negative point, but something you might want to think about if you're making something heavy which you need to move frequently. In hindsight, I wouldn't have bothered with the brakes, this thing isn't going anywhere unless you're pushing it. I would buy these again.

EXCELLENT QUALITY. All hardware included to fit these casters. Casters are very good, strong ideal for my job. I fitted them to a Freezer trolly I made. Now I can easily move the freezer to clean behind it. Would buy again for other uses.

These are much better than I'd hoped for. They are very solid and are HEAVY. I've made a dolly to support my car which has a wheel removed and they move it easily around an uneven yard.

These castors have been invaluable. Screwed onto a pallet allows very heavy objects to be moved with relative ease. The wide wheels help with uneven surfaces. Great value.
