They are not as soft as the OXO brand that I originally had so I think they will last longer. Just bear in mind this type of tool will not take the abuse that a hard plastic type will, but do work great getting under items like pancakes and eggs etc that are not stuck to the surface they they are cooked on.

They are made in, you guessed it, China. Cool company it turns out, I was easily able to get in touch with them and they promptly answered my question as to where the spatulas are made.
