Tiny learning curve, but work just right once you get them set up.
Small enough they dont block other outlets, and the seem reliable so far.

Auto-detected by Smart Life + Has handy settings options
With my experiences with Smart Plugs over the past year I was dubious these would work. Usually I end up breaking my mesh network into separate SSIDs to ensure a 2.4ghz connection is associated with smart plugs and still have products that just won't connect.WIth these smart plugs I had no such trouble. Even with solid smart plug brands that are standards compliant enough to pair with Smart Life I still have to select the "Socket (Wi-Fi)" sub-dialog of the add device screen and start work from there but these auto-detected on the add device screen scanning alone and guided me through adding them from there. No breaking up my mesh network to separate 2.4ghz from 5 either. Very nice! But wait - there's more....These devices have a sleek menu screen and allow for the following settings:- Timer with (Countdown, Schedule, Circulate, Random, Inching) configuration options.- A log of switching activity.- Restart (On, Off, Remember last status) options to control power outage recovery state.- Power button light modes (on/off - on when switch is on, location - on when switch is off, indicator - always off)- Child Lock - To keep curious fingers from physically controlling the device. Physical button has to be pressed 4 times in succession to release lock.Additional Notes:These fit snug in the outlet. Took a little effort to plug all the way in and then unplug. I like that as I don't have to worry about it falling out of the outlet. The one thing I can think of that would make these universally better is if they had tamper resistance the way a lot of GFCI outlets these days do to prevent non-plug things from touching line and becoming "energized".

Easy to set up and use with Alexa
At first I was a little hesitant about setting this up, since the instruction booklet was teeny tiny, and so was the print. Once I downloaded their app using the QR code in the booklet, the rest was pretty easy. Download the Smart Life App, registered, then followed the prompts to connect to my wi-fi. You can choose to control the plug from the Smart Life app, or, as I did, via Amazon Alexa, which was also pretty intuitive to use. I am using this to control lamps (or holiday lighting, most likely) so I should be ok, but note that it's only rated for 10 Amps.My only issues: the plug is larger than I thought, so if you have one plugged in, you can only use a regular cord in the other outlet. In other words, you can't use both of the plugs side by side. So think of it as if it's got a "brick" adapter like some electronics have. The other thing is that I like to name my devices, and I can't seem to do that with this smart plug. Yes, there are generic terms like "office," but we have 2 offices in our house, so I always find it useful to be able to customize the name of the plug to differentiate where/what it is. (ex "bedroom lamp")

Exactly what I wanted
It took me a smidge to figure out the set-up but once one connected the three others were a breeze. I specifically wanted to tell Google to turn on/off lights from any room, and it works just as I imagined. The plug was unusually bulky but you can still fit a plug below.

Easy set up out of the box
I have an extensive smart home and use several smart plugs and lights. I use the smart home app and let it port things over to Google home. The set up was a breeze, easiest I've actually ever had. I had the smart home app open and plugged in the smart plug. Pressed and held the button up get it to enter pairing. It automatically popped up on the app asking if I wanted to add all i had to do was click yes, I was expecting to have to go thru the add and search. The plug has been working perfectly as expected with google home. Will purchase this brand again when I need more.

Great value!!
These are great little plugs. Easy to set up and get started using them. I love being able to tell Alexa to turn on my lamp. Great for security when I'm away. No one more stumbling the dark when walking into the room. Does everything the more expensive ones do, but for a great price!

Dangerous
The product works as expected unless you're running something that draws a lot of watts. The device will become hot and not turn off.Honestly the product should just be taken off the market.
