You get what you pay for...
So, calling this a multi tool is a pretty big stretch since most of the "tools" are no part of the main unit. The main unit has a small knife with a bottle opener, a whistle, and a flint/fire starter. I do not believe it is magnesium, just something to get a spark from. The other tools are a small flat piece of metal that doesn't actually attach in any way to the unit itself. Feels like they threw it in the box so that it could be called a multi tool. The set looks okay, but I don't know how useful it will really be in a camping/survival situation.

Excellent outdoor survival tool set.
As a former USAF Survival Instructor I'm always interested in survival related tools. In a survival situation there are several key things you need, some are; signaling method, fire, easy to use/reliable equipment. This tool meets those needs.Comes in a nice box, suitable for gift giving. Looks good, like a piece of metallic bamboo, but more importantly is very useful. Easy to carry around your neck or in a pocket. Has a very loud built in whistle in one end, a great signal method. Has flint and striker to help start a fire. Simply unscrew to reveal the tools. Small, sharp knife with can/bottle opener is another useful item within. Back side of knife could also be used on the flint (magnesium) bar to create sparks. No batteries, easy to use, covers some of the most basic needs... great survival tool for travel, camping, hiking, hunting. I recommend this item.

It's ok
I liked the idea of this little multitool, but in reality, there's not much I can actually use it for. I couldn't get the flint to spark (which was the main reason I got this). Knife is small and can't be used for much. Won't be in my regular camping/hiking rotation.

Well, the whistle works
Not sure, I would waste my time effort, carrying this on a camping trip. The blade is so tiny that it’s almost useless, perhaps in a pinch you could use it to cut a shoelace. The Flint simply won’t spark. I tried with a variety of different knives to generate a spark, but no luck. Not sure what the enclosed black tool is useful for other than to open a bottle or can. A good multitool would be my preference, but then again, the whistle works.

All in one design
I was pleasantly surprised by mechanical tolerances on this multi-tool. It's not claimed to be water proof or anything like that but it has nice tight threads and I'm not worried about it falling apart in the field. This is a great addition to anyone's personal "bug out" bag. The flint isn't going to go bad, so you'll always have the ability to spark up a campfire.

Very cheap.
Reaaallly cheap product, can scarcely be called a multitool in my opinion. Whistle works but isn't super loud or piercing, dubious on whether it would be all that useful in an outdoors survival situation. Flint rod is a joke, "blade" is impossible to open and tiny and dull. Not sure why the ruler/can opener tool is a distinctly separate piece but I'm of the opinion it's included to make this set seem more useful than it actually is. Genuinely disappointed. Spend your money elsewhere.

Good value for backup camping tool!
Value is good.Liking it!-You can easily spark with it to make fire!-blade is sharp but small, you could make a good arrow out of it.-Whistle is loud (like London police whistle).Could better.-Paracord could be longer (OK for necklace).-Steel accessory could have more hex cut outs.I do think this is good value.I will keep in in my trekking gear as a back up to my primary tools, maybe around my neck.
