nice to have for a spur of the moment clip. Doesn't give off nearly the amount of light as a large ring, but works. I do like the flexibility for front and back videos

Bright relative to its size. Attached securely on magsafe devices. Very portable, easy to slip inside a pocket.

I’m getting to know Ulanzi quite well these days. Kinda like a new best friend, I’m spending allot of time with their stuff. Translated, the more I use it, the more I like it and subsequently order more of it. This selfie light is another example of their product line that is quite remarkable. I’ll get the caveat out if the way; it’s plastic. But in turn very light weight. This light easily attaches to the back of my iPhone Pro Max by way of MagSafe magnet. It just sticks on. No adhesive needed. On and off in a second. It resembles a lady’s compact. One half of it peers around the backside of the phone and when turned on provides great filler light for stuff you’re taking pictures of. It has reasonable power but I think is best suited for macro shots and close portraits. But you can change the intensity and temperature (warm to cool lighting) of the light. On the outer rim there is a long press on/off button, two rotary dials to control the light and a usb c input to charge it. It even has three tiny white coloured led’s to show charge status. Wow. I have not had it long, but I’ve takes close portraits, selfies and macro shots of food and small objects. In each situation the light is brilliant. Though obviously not as convenient as the built in flash, this has the beauty of providing warm lighting and this makes a significant difference in many situations. At first I picked it up and thought it’s a shame it’s light plastic. But then, using it on my phone and hardly noticing the extra weight, I get why they made it this way. Ulanzi generally makes quality stuff, so even this being plastic, it’s well made. And works wonderfully. I won’t write too much about about storage as it’s quite obvious this is small enough to be in the pocket of your jeans or easily kept in a purse, manbag or backpack. Great item. Very useful for daily photo activity. Recommended.

AMAZING light! This magsafe light is perfect for taking on casual date nights or even some more serious photos/videos. The three colour temperatures and brightness levels are so handy for customising light levels when using more feature heavy photo/video apps. Great for selfies and love the ability to extend the arm from the magsafe puck for changing the angle of the light or to make holding the phone easier in the hand. Battery life is decent also, takes no time at all to recharge either. Great product, don't have any negatives really.
