Good for the price but doesn’t hurt to go bigger and better still a great product
I have this little bad boy powering a 5k taramps , and a 2k watt 4 channel amp… on top of my truck’s electrical with lights . Still runs good and charges great, it’s a plug and play type of deal, would recommend for any basic or to even moderate system

Today it blew up?
Installed to charge 3 agm batteries powering a 3000 watt amp. Worked good for a little over a year. Today it blew up? Never had an alternator go like this but there's so much shrapnel inside it that the pully won't even spin. Warranty won't cover it because it's been over a year. Not impressed.

perfect fit
I replaced the factory 105AMP alternator with this high output, and it is awesome. my voltage gauge would drop with the A/C, lights, fan, and an air pump. This thing stays stead at idle, just like it stated. Its expensive but well worth it. Will need to get a belt that is 1 in bigger, mine original belt would not fit and if it is to tight ,it will ruin the water pump bearing. Give it 5 stars*****

Awesome Alternator
Performs great, you’ll likely need to purchase a new wire since this alternator has a 5/16 stud. I ordered one on amazon for $10 that has 5/16 and 3/8 terminals. (The stud that my alternator runs to is 3/8) Or if you have the tools you can build one up yourself. My only complaint is that it’s charging my battery to 16 volts which is too high so I’m guessing maybe it’s a voltage regulator issue. Either way, I wouldn’t recommend leaving it like that if you’re having a similar issue as it could kill your battery. Update: I checked the voltage output from the alternator stud and it was reading 14.4 volts which is perfect (each battery cell is actually 1.2 volts so a 12 volt battery is actually 14.4) so don’t always trust your gauges I suppose. Changed it from 4 to 5 stars

Supplies 1,500 watt sytem, worth it!
Feeds much needed current to my power hungry system! With OEM alternator, I could see my voltage gauge drop when the bass hit, with new alternator in, I barely have my dash lights flicker when I have my sytem at full blast. I didn’t notice my headlights flicker with the new alternator either. HIGHLY recommended!

BEST ALTERNATOR I HAVE FOUND AND I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING👀💯💯
THIS ALTERNATOR IS A GOD-SEND. I AM FULL, STIFF 14.5 VOLTS EVEN AT 160+ DB THIS ALTERNATOR IS THE BEST BY FAR. I DRAW 350 AMPS AND THIS ALTERNATOR IS JUST LAUGHING AT HOW EASY THAT LOAD IS TO IT. I WIN ALL MY SHOWS IN ST.LOUIS AND THIS ALTERNATOR IS SIMPLY BETTER THAN THE OTHER 8 ALTERNATORS I HAVE TRIED ON MY LIFTED STEREO TRUCK. EVEN THE BLACK PAINTWORK TO MATCH MY TRUCK WAS GORGEOUS. LOVE IT. SEE YOU AT CES IN VEGAS WITH MY SHOW VEHICLE!!

It works great
Love this alternator performed better than i thought. Output stud bigger than that of my factory alternator but that was no problem was planning on changing that wire anyway. Have had it for about 6 months now and havent had any problems with it yet. Factory size belt was a wee bit small but the tighter the belt the better it is for it for full load on the alternator. I would recommend this alternator to anyone.
