Yummie Women's Harlo Seamless Mid Waist Thigh Shaper Shapewear

I wanted more smoothness around my midsection and shorts to prevent chaffing. This item does the job perfectly. I still have yet to wear them while dancing to see if it moves out of place but so far so good. I am 5' 2" and it can pull up over my entire tummy and the shorts are about 3.5" above my knee. I need to scrunch the shorts higher up on my leg so there is no peek-a-boo. It is comfortable to wear and I would probably size down rather than up if you are unsure. Breathable, light-weight feel and not shiny which is what I like.

well made, comfortable, but very long in length and not tight enough

These were perfect for under my Essence of Australia D1951 wedding dress! The dress is only a few layers of crepe fabric so it definitely showed all my bumps and these helped me feel totally smoothed out and you couldn't see them at all! They hit perfectly about an inch above the belly button and went to right above the knee, hiding all seams. There is a very very slight edge (1-2mm) where the opaque waist fabric meets the rest of the shorts right around the hips. This seems to be due to an inside seam that isn't very well constructed (as it stretches the seam fabric rolls). I included a pic of it. Even though my dress was fitted and fairly thin it didn't show at all still. They stayed in place and didn't wrinkle the whole day. I also felt very comfortable in them!

It is pretty good. I think all tights should have a proper mesh in between the legs, you know like an underwear, this does not. one point off. it does roll, after a few washes. another point off.But it is very comfy, and tightens the tummy a bit. Don't think it did much for the butt area, but most of the tummy tights I have gotten tries to flatten hip and butt, so I am grateful that this didn't.

I bought this last month because I was looking for a foundation garment with a reasonable amount of compression. I have put on a few pounds in the past year or two and will be getting married later this year, so I was looking for something that would help me look better in a wedding dress (and would help me pick out one that looks good on me as well).Maybe I misunderstood what this particular item was intended to do, but when I put it on, I realized it was not what I wanted. There really is no significant compression or shaping at all. I'm pretty sure that I had the right size based on the comments here AND I also checked the sizing based on the manufacturer's website (I ordered a M/L but I am at the bottom of the recommended weight). Maybe a size smaller (S/M) would have been better, but I was concerned about it being too small. That being said, I am pleased with the quality of this product. The fabric is of good quality and comfortable to wear (for the most part).Although this item is not what I was looking for and I almost sent it back, I have decided to keep it for another purpose. I have several pairs of something similar that I wear under skirts and dresses when it is hot to prevent skin chafing (Barely There Women's Smooth A'tude Light Control Thigh Slimmer bought here on Amazon several years ago) which have no compression but work well for this purpose. This item Yummie item is basically a higher quality version of the Barely There product. Because I know that I will be needing more shorts to wear under dresses and skirts for the summer (my Barely There shorts are starting to get thin and stretched out), I have decided to keep this Yummie item. I would only recommend this item if you are looking for something both comfortable and high quality to wear under skirts and dresses in the summer to prevent chafing. About a week after this item came and I realized it would not work at all, I purchased a more expensive but similar pair of Spanx (SPANX Women's In Power Super Higher Power Shaper ) which is exactly what I was looking for. Maybe other Yummie products are more similar to Spanx in terms of compression, but this one is definitely not.So in summary,Pros:Seems to be very high quality - I have worn it twice and so far no tears/rips/other similar problemsCons:Really no compression, *maybe* a light "smoothing" effectI had a little bit of chafing after a day of wear in hot weather, but only along some of the crotch seam lines (wasn't a problem until very late in the day)***oh, BTW, I did pay full amazon price this item, I did not get it free or at any discount, and I have never had any contact with the manufacturer

I have a very long torso and this was way too short, barely came to my waist and then it rolled down and was way too uncomfortable. Not worth the price either. Should have sent it back.

I am actually someone who has purchased and worn these ... I love them !! They do not roll down at the top nor do they roll up at the bottom ... They offer support and smoothing under your dresses .. Compared to the several pair of spanx that I own these are far better !!! They are not too tight I love the fit and feel of these ... About to order another pair I love them so much !!! Move over spanx !!!

Provide good support to the tummy area. Surprisingly doesn't really slide down even though there is no band at the top. My thighs rub and these make a slight sound when I walk but so do most things, including jeans, so I don't mind, but definitely be aware. I went back and ordered these in nude as well as these feel great under sheath dresses.

So light smooth and has lots of control
