One thing that drives me crazy about most hoodies on the more affordable side is that they pill, or shrink, or the inside gets not soft anymore after a wash. This hoodie did none of those things. I work a pretty physically demanding job. I wear a hoodie everyday and it gets pretty dirty so holding up to washes is important to me. The color is rich and does not fade with washing. I’ve washed it at least 15 times and it’s still going strong. It’s warm and cozy. It’s true to size, nice fit. I would order it again. Good value for money.

I got this hoodie in black and it’s lightweight and comfortable. I like how simplistic it is without the usual drawstrings that you would normally find on other hoodies from other brands. It also held up pretty well after washing it, without any visible changes in color. The only downside to my hoodie is that it collects lint but I think that’s typical of most black colored clothing, and it’s not much of a dealbreaker for me since you can easily get rid of lint with a lint roller.

I really do love the American Apparel! Quality is so good for the price you pay! And love that me and my husband can use the same hoodie!

Ordered the Rose XL. I have a 6’6” wing span and wiry frame. This fits perfect. Soft. Ordering the order color waves now.

The hoodie is soft but thin. It's good for layering with a long sleeve and a jacket if you wanted to wear it on a colder day. It's true to size. After one wash, the black was already faded... it looked old. Note that I wash all my black clothes together and use a detergent specifically for dark clothing. For almost $30, there are better quality hoodies out there.

This hoodie fit true to size based on what I normally wear. It's is very good quality with no loose threads or any issues whatsoever that I see. I would also say it's a midweight hoodie as it seems a little thicker than others. The thing I most like about it is the climate friendly pledge which it carries. What is the climate friendly pledge? Due to this fact and the excellent quality I would 100 percent recommend this if you are looking for a hoodie. Oh and I almost forgot this hoodie also doesn't have the annoying drawstrings that can be problematic in the wash or when wearing.

The sweatshirt is slightly oversized. It's comfortable and considering how warm it is, it's pretty light when you wear it - best combination. The build quality is great. I've had to wash this about 3-4 times already and it held up perfectly through it. Highly recommend it!
