I have had this light installed for a month now and so far so good. It was an upgrade for the 10 year old LED light system that had a potentially dangerous submerged transformer, failed about every 3 years, and cost $1000 every time. Overall this light seems to be well made and it works well. The transformer and separate controller appear to be of above average ruggedness and quality which was a factor in choosing this brand - it has to last at least 5 if not 10 years! Once installed it integrated nicely with the rest of the lighting we had setup in the Smart Life App and Google Assistant for voice control. Note that while the stainless steel dress ring is solid and looks great, it does sit flush against the pool wall and does not have any kind of lip around the rim like older style pool lights, so if the plaster around your light recess is uneven, you may see gaps or have trouble getting the light to sit flush. Installation is likely going to be considered difficult for most DIYers. In most pools the conduit to the light is way too small to fit the wire to the light through with the connector still attached, so be prepared to cut the connector off to be able to pull it through. You will want to locate the power supply and controller somewhere that is not in direct sun or rain, and still be in range of your wifi, so be sure to choose a model with adequate wire length or be prepared to extend it with 5 wire landscape lighting cable. Pairing with the app can be sometimes be challenging with some dual band home wifi routers and or mesh setups. For this reason and also because the installation is expensive or time consuming, I recommend that before installation you test that it works and also to set up the wifi closer to your main wifi router/AP. Be sure to drop the light into a bucket of water before activating the light.

First and foremost, I was quoted 5400 to replace my 3 Hayward logic 4.0 lights. I found these, didn't know if they would fit, but perfect fitting and look more modern than the logic. Changed all three in my pool for less than $600. The light output is even better than the logic 4.0. Can't say enough good things about this product! Also, app works on phone where you can program on and off times, just awesome. See pic above and that is with the darker blue color and I have a large pool. For all the Hayward owners that are tired of overpricing, this is the light to go with!!

Lights spa very well! Controllable from far distance with included remote. We love the variety of colors, lighting options, and functionality. Decent fit but bottom clip isn’t adjustable and doesn’t reach lip like previous Pentair light. Installation required modification, silicone, and patience. Good value; I recommend it.

All pool lights are terrible. I have purchased all the name brands. I figured why not try these. Purchased two. One works the other only blinks red. CLASSIC CHINESE HORRIBLE DOCUMENTATION AND SUPPORT. YOU LITERALLY NEED A MAGNIFYING GLASS TO READ THE ONE SHEET INSTALL AND DOCUMENTATION. Web store is a joke. When you click on support or warranty information, response is "Refer to Manual". Which does not exist. There is an email address which I sent detailed requests twice in 6 days and NO response! The included remote only sets unit up and you must use app. App is a joke. This pool light does not appear as a manual override install item. App sees light, but won't connect to it. I have strong wifi and network sees controller, but won't link. FAQ on store provides NO detailed answers, only overviews. It indicates flashing red is good, but not next step when remote won't see light, nor app, nor network link. why not post a real manual on a website. One light does work with remote and provides 1 solid color, but must relink setup every time it is turned on. Missed return date by 1 day.

Product was easy to install by electricians, awesome product and remote. Also connects and can be managed by Alexa or your phone.Nice clear colors because of LED.

Was skeptical about using this not knowing two dimensions and if it would fit my line, turned out it works just fine great great color aspect for the pool love the remote can use it in the house without walking outside, great value for the price.

Purchased and installed almost exactly 1 year ago, it worked perfectly and I was very happy with the purchase. This week it just stopped working. 1 year is not a reasonable or appropriate amount of time for these to last. Replacement is very labor intensive. Not sure if the transformer, controller, or LED light itself went. It never did stay connected to smart app but otherwise it always worked fine with the remote. I will be buying a replacement and continuing the search for a reliable product
