Consistent, clean power.
This is a well-made and easy to power supply. The case is rugged and durable. The controls or intuitively laid out and easy to use. All the buttons and dials are nicely responsive. I am an electronics enthusiast and am always testing random things and need a lot of control over power output. This really fits the bill. I used one of my more reliable multimeters and the output was quite accurate. I think this would work well for both amateurs and people who do this kind of work daily in their job.

Pretty accurate for an off-brand power supply.
If you need a fairly accurate hobby power supply that is rated at 32vdc, 5amps, this may very well fit your needs.I tested the voltage output with an HP/Agilent 34401A meter. I was surprised at how close the readings came to actual. At 32v, it was spot on. Wow lol. At 5 volts, it was within 3mv on the low side. That's actually pretty good. If you need, say, 3.3v, I would increase the least significant digit by 1 (that adds 10mv) for ripple variances and make sure you filter your projects well.Ripple current isn't bad on the one I received. Top current draw states 5amps, but it will struggle approaching that much of a current draw and the fan will crank up. That's to be expected for an off-brand (no disrespect intended) model. The USB ports easily provide a constant 5v at 2amps, which is good for hobby work. Voltage was observed to drift a little, so make sure once again, filter filter filter. Also, after 10 minutes at 2amps, the front of the power supply did warm up a bit. Just something to be aware of.I'm giving the power supply 5 stars because it's working well for the type: switching, not Linear. Also, OCP (over-current protection) works well and I like that you can set the voltage to whatever, then punch the "OUT" button to activate it. Also, you have 3 memory settings which can come in quite handy. Everything is easy to set.Lastly, I was able to try out all the features, controls, settings- never once did I have to refer to the operating manual like on some other digital power supplies I've reviewed. All in all, a good budget, off-brand, accurate, and handy power supply. Recommended.

Compact size but mighty 32V @ 5A encoder-controlled power supply W USB charging ports
The Wanptek encoder controlled 0-32VDC power supply is capable of suppling well-regulated precise DC power up to 5A ( 160W ).The overall power supply is only 5.7 x 7.48 x 3.5" and weighs in at 2lb 7.6 oz. About half the size of a similar one that I purchased about 2 years ago. This well-made ( metal enclosure) encoder selected variable 4 digit power supply is very easy to setup and operate. Just push the Voltage or Current knob until you select the right digit ( decade) and turn to select the correct setting. The display is excellent and can be easily read even in a bright rooms. ( see enclosed pixs)You have all the necessary safety features as well as selectable constant current (CC) or constant voltage (CV) capabilities and a DC power on/off control as well. The unit is very quiet in operation, even when the temperature controlled internal fan turns on. The product also provides 2 USB ports that support fast charging, but are limited to 18WOn the technical side , using my calibrated Fluke 150Khz (BW) RMS voltmeter and voltage standard, I measured a maximum of 10mv RMS noise on the output and the internal switching frequency ( ~ 250Khz) was down to -45DBm , good performance for this category of power supplys. Overall accuracy throughout the entire voltage range was better than 0.2% !Small and mighty , easy to set up encoder voltage/current selection, nice bright displays, and the overall price performance makes this a solid 5 star product.
