First off, the packaging is not very good. It was delivered in a plastic bag with no styrofoam or anything to protect it. Luckily, the product was not damaged. To install it, you need to search for a video on YouTube how to install it. It's not plug and play. Not difficult to install but tricky without any guidance. The product fits just like the original. The holes aligned perfectly. The spring that hold the latch is a bit bigger than the original but it was pre-installed.

This fit my 08 Civic Si perfectly. I took a gamble because it didn't say that it fit my car but it looked right. Now I can drive without my center console lid opening up while I was driving which drove me crazy. I would strongly suggest getting this if yours does the same thing

Worked , not sure it’s better than factory but as good but complex to install

Item fits great for my 08 Civic. You have to take off the metal sliders on the side of the oem plastic and input those metal sliders onto this plastic item with the corresponding screws. Fairly easy install. Lets see how long it lasts though.

You definitely need to find a YouTube video to help guide you on replacing this, and it wasn’t easy finding a good one. The holes are a little bit misaligned where the screws go, but we worked with it and got it on.
