Better than expected
I was struggling with ordering these off of Amazon as a lot of the reviews with other sellers said they were lightweight cheap and fell apart after a short time after reading the reviews on this one it had a thick base was heavy enough to stay down, and the lines and home base was durable so I gave it a try it arrived quickly. Well packaged had straps to carry it to the location. We got it installed in our batting cage outside and everything‘s been great so far.

Great mat for the price
It took Amazon a few tries to get the right color to us which was frustrating, but it is now in our cage and works well. Doesn’t slip, seems sturdy, the lines don’t appear to be fading any. Great piece for the price, we shopped around a while before going this route.

Great mat, sturdy, heavy,…
Excellent high-quality product. I ordered this to create a batting practice area in my basement. I’m attaching a photo to show you the set up, though it isn’t quite complete, as I am considering adding some netting at the top and sides to help control the potential occasional stray ball, but the current net setup should catch the majority of the balls. The mat is heavy and seems very well built. It is heavy enough that the box has a label instructing to have two people to lift the box, and it is definitely heavy enough that I dragged it into the house rather than trying to lift it, though I saw thatthe delivery person did carry it alone. As you can see in my photo, I have it on top of some blue exercise mats, the kind that connect like jigsaw puzzle pieces. I don’t think the mats under it are necessary, but it adds some cushioning and helps prevent more bouncing from the balls after they are hit beyond the mat. The green mat color is great , and the white lines and plate are crisp. In case you are wondering, my basement ceilings aren’t really high enough for a batting cage area, so I’m working on how to protect the exposed insulation, as well as some pipes and flexible house ventilation ducting. I will likely nail some plywood over some of the exposed more fragile areas, and I might cover the exposed insulation with a tight, heavy duty tarp. I am considering running steel wires and running baseball netting over that, though it may be difficult to keep it tight enough to prevent the ball from still pushing the netting far enough to hit the insulation or other structures, again, because the ceiling is not that high. There are videos that you can find online showing how people set up baseball netting on steel wire. Anyway, back to the mat… I am very happy with it. It is heavy, which made it hard to move, but that is going to keep it from shifting around. It is big too. It is the proper size for this type of item, but do measure the area you plan to use it in. It feels good to stand on and makes the batting area look much more official. It is definitely well-made and heavy duty, and it is thick. I hope some of this is helpful for you. I really like it.

It’s ok
It all about the little things…the plate centered between the batters box would seem to be important.Needless to say the one I received is not.Seems durable, thickness of the mat is sufficient.

Great for indoor practice
The team needed an indoor mat for practice on rain days, and this is perfect. Fits well in the indoor cage in the gym. The mat is thick, and doesn't move around on the floor when in use.

BEST baseball batting mat!
My youngest daughter absolutely loves the game of baseball. To help and encourage her love of this sport, I decided to get this baseball batting mat. I did some research about what would benefit her the best, and I came across this baseball batting mat. First, let me begin by saying that is without a doubt a very professionally made baseball batting mat. It is substantial in weight and does not shift. Below, I will list some of the main reasons I sought out this one over the others on the market.*Design: Turf is very realistic, the feel, the look. Made with commercial grade synthetic turf. Excellent quality materials used to create this batting mat.*Felt cloth*Variety: this can be used for baseball or softball, so love that it offers a couple different options.*Material: High-density pure polyethylene Grass silk*works great in the backyard and protects your natural landscape/grass*Size: 12' x 5'*Location: you can use this either indoors or outdoors (that is remarkable)*Tufted white lines instead of paint like most others*Spike resistant and slip resistant*Dimensions for your reference: 72 x 144 x 0.59 inches and a weight of 24.95 kilosOverall, I find that this is an actually fantastic baseball batting mat. The quality is undisputed. I highly recommend this to other consumers. We can use this now indoors, but we cannot wait until all the snow melts and get this outside in an area much larger. I do appreciate you reading my review, I hope it was informative and useful. :)
