Cats Best Original Clumping Cat Litter, 5 Litre (2.1 kg)

This cat litter is something else! I used to use a very well known non clumping litter for years, dealing with the smell of cat urine if tray wasn't emptied completely every 2 days, thinking, well this is the best brand available.....it definitely wasn't! Ordered the huge bag of this, at just under £40, I worked out if it lasts for at least 6 weeks I've spent less on it as previously mentioned "top brand" as I spent £15 a fortnight on that one. Received the bag of litter one week ago today, and I have to say this is the best clumping litter I have ever experienced! I have a massive litter tray for 4 cats who are all indoor/outdoor, but 3 of them prefer to go out and come back inside to use the tray :/ so it could be absolutely rotten at times! Had no problems with the cats with changing the litter but I suppose it depends on how fussy your cat is! This does track a lot more than my previous brand, but its quick to sweep up every now and again. It smells like fresh cut wood, clumps SO easily with wee, and is really easy to lift out with a big scoop. The litter turns to a gel like ball, holding together well until lifted out. Doesn't stick to the tray either! (but I do go digging around 3/4 times a day so nothing is sitting for very long) Its quieter than other litters! I have noticed i barely hear my cats going for the toilet now compared to the other, it sounded like an excavation was going on! On day of delivery I put around 4 inches of litter into tray, 7 days later i haven't had to even top it up yet! Or change it fully, or wash a stinky litter tray!! In my opinion this is well worth the money, it may seem expensive, but it lasts ages!

This is a good quality cat litter with excellent odor and waste absorption as well as clumping ability. Soft and gentle on any cat's paws, it is easy to scoop out and clean. Since it is so light, it can track around the house. For me this is not an issue since I vacuum clean daily, litter tracking or not. The value for money is dependent on the size, the smaller sizes can be quite expensive, depending who/where you buy from. I switched to 30l packs, which last a long time and work out cheaper than the 5 l pack.

One of my cats has asthma so I can't use any dusty litters. I've also bought various eco friendly litters but none I've tried are good at masking odours, the paper stuff all has to be removed daily and the corn litter clumps into lumps so solid you need a chisel to remove the clumps so the whole lot ends up being thrown out daily. This is the best I've tried. The clumps are easy to remove and you simply pop it in a biodegradable dog poo bag (or biodegradable food bag that you use in the kitchen caddy) and stick it in the landfill bin knowing that it is biodegradable and won't remain in landfill for years or,well.... forever! I have 2 cats and used to have to clean 3 litter trays every day but, now I only have to completely change them once a week and, believe me when I say I have a sense of smell that is probably on par with a bloodhound and, although I wish I didn't at times, I would know if there was ANY bad smell occurring. I can assure you when the clumps are removed and any faeces that may have slipped onto the tray wiped off with 'RSPCA wee away' cleaner on a piece of kitchen roll there is NO BAD SMELL LINGERING. When I remove the clumps I simply add a wee drop more litter and the job's done for the day. When I completely change the litter I fill up the co-op biodegradable bags with it, pop in the landfill bin and feel safe in the knowledge that I'm not destroying the planet by owning cats! I bought a small bag to begin with to see how it would go and, because the larger packs are more expensive than most other litters, considering the amount of use you get out of it, I would say the larger packs are better value for money than cheaper litters which you have to change every day so, as well as destroying the planet with cheaper clay based litter, it is also false economy at the end of the day. I just went ahead and bought a 20litre bag and will continue to use this litter until I am, eventually, dead and eaten by my cats. (And my dog since he's a faithless wretch). I won't mind this, however, so long as whomever I leave my pets to use cats best litter, disposed off in biodegradable cornstarch bags thus preventing my own remains from turning the world into one big old litter tray. Definitely recommend. Now all we need is stainless steel litter trays or, s'thing other than plastic to become the norm. I've just read some other reviews and don't kmow why other people don't like it. It does track onto the floor a wee bit but I vacuum daily so I really don't think a tiny amount if litter on a hard floor is a big deal considering this is ECO FRIENDLY and doesn't need to be completely changed every day. I suppose some people just don't take into account the environment. ****sighs*** Don't believe the bad reviews- honestly- it's great stuff and dusty clay litter GAVE my eldest cat asthma btw so it's also safer for your cats health as well as the environment. Buy a mat for around the litter tray, any litter tracked out onto the mat can easily be swept up with a wee brush and shovel while you're removing clumps.

El precio es elevado, sin embargo lo vale ya que rinde bastante. En mi caso para dos gatos adultos la presentación de 4.3 kg me duró alrededor de 7 semanas. Ayuda a neutralizar mucho los olores y es muy práctica para desechar. (La limpio diario o cada dos días, solo se filtra con la pala y se desecha por el excusado). No genera polvo, es biodegradable.

Para mim a melhor areia que existe.

Uzun zamandir patilere yapismayan everclean kullaniyorduk fakat kizimizin patileri ve tuyleri toz icinde kaliyordu. Hem onun hem bizim sagligimiz icin pelet kum arayisina girdik. Cats best ve biokats arasinda kaldik, fakat yorumlara bakarak biokatsin kokuyu onleyemedigi sonucuna vardik. Cats best okaliptus sayesinde kokuyu tamamen emiyor ve kendisi de cok guzel kokuyor. Tabi ki kokunun onlenmesi icin ve tam bir kapsayicilik icin kucuk tanelere ihtiyac var, bu sebeple patilere yapisip sadece tuvalet onune dagilabiliyor, fakat everclean den daha fazla degil. Yani bentonit gibi tozlu bir sekilde ortaliga dagilmiyor, koku konusunda da daha basarili. Toz zaten hic yok. Cats bestten devam edecegiz artik.
