If you whip lines, this is the stuff to use. I like the old world touch it adds and works every bit as good as lighters, dips, etc. Some, like me, would say works better. I can whip in the wind and all I need is a line, sharp knife and this whipping. If you're going to, you've found your whipping material. Marlow is the brand to use and stow for repair duty.

Used it to whip the ends of my 5mm and 7mm lines on my sailboat and it worked great. I wish there were more colors.
