I'm in America, but one of my England friends was having surgery. I wanted to do something that he might find helpful as he recovered. The meals were varied, and he found them tasty and helpful. He enjoyed them, and was glad for their convenience in that they didn't need refrigeration.

Pretty tasty actually was surprised

I'd come across Parsley Box before realising I could order them on Amazon. Unlike some of the people on here, I actually find the meals quite tasty. Yes, the portions are small, but you can always add rice or potatoes. For convenience, they can't be beaten.

Liked all the flavours and speed of cooking. Bit stingy on portion of meat. Lancashire hotpot had 2 tiny bits of lamb.

The only positive aspects of these meals are speed of preparation and the convenience of storing without freezing. That’s where anything positive terminates. Quality sacrificed for convenience. They compare very unfavourably with supermarket ready meals. Portions are very small, for which I am actually grateful, as those I sampled, after a few shuddering mouthfuls, went straight in the bin. Some bland, some very weird tasting and all unappetising. The concept is a very good one, however the execution falls well short of even acceptable, which is setting the bar as low as it can be. I experienced some really awful school lunches in the 1950s, but all superior to these. Imagine the worst institutional cuisine and that gives you a good idea of what you’ll get. Bon appetit.

I will not be buying this item again . The selection I got did not impress me at all . Most lacked taste and mainly comprised of gravy and overcooked potato . Not good value for money in my opinion .
