I expected a decent sized mallet. This is extremely small. But hopefully it will do the job. I needed one to assemble a toy for my grandkids. It worked but I have never seen one so small. Hope it's useful on future uses. Very useful

Way smaller than what I though as I bought it according to the picture not the actual size they mentioned.I am still going to keep it, but I didn't like their misleading advertisement.

Not every task requires a bigger hammer, despite what my father taught me about his Engineering career. For the smaller jobs, this nicely proportioned hammer / mallet provides just enough force. It's easier to control that trying to be gentle with a bigger hammer or mallet.

This hammer has plastic on both sides. The amber side is supposed to be plastic and it is. The black side is supposed to rubber - IT IS NOT RUBBER, it is also plastic.
