Film is much thicker and of a higher quality than I had expected. I have never applied a protective film before. It is firm but does stretch a little and has some give. Watched a few videos and gave it a shot. For the slip solution recommendations were for 2ml baby shampoo per 32 ounces of distilled water. I found it better with 2.5 ml or 1/2 teaspoon and 24 ounces of water. It allowed a little more slip and forgiveness for a beginner. For the tack solution recommendations were not to exceed 17% alcohol so I used 150 ml 91% isopropyl alcohol to 850ml of water, Or 3 ounces of alcohol for every 17 ounces of water. This ratio worked well for me to tack corners. I found the application fairly easy on flat or slightly curved areas. Once applied it is very hard to see and has similar gloss to car. Looks very good. Squeegee worked well. Just the right stiffness for me. Due to my inexperience had difficulty on sharp corners and different angles. Material was forgiving, was able to remove and reapply fairly easily. Recommendations were to wet hands thoroughly with skip solution, clean area thoroughly and wear lent free clothes. I did have some issues with small pieces of lent/dirt on white car. If I noticed in time was able to pull film away and flush out with slip solution. Would definitely buy again. I may even try to do the hood. I also applied to inside of cup holder and seems to be working very well. Metal cups were scratching the plastic. I don’t know what other films are like so nothing to compare to, but this seemed like a very good product. Hope this helps.

I bought the XPEL Paint Protection Film to shield my shiny new truck from the daily onslaught of road debris, scratches, and dings. Application was straightforward, and the film is practically invisible once installed. It does an amazing job protecting against rock chips and keeps my paint looking factory fresh. But, as I recently discovered, it won’t save you from Mother Nature’s wrath. A hailstorm rolled through last week, and while my paint is still pristine, my truck now looks like a golf ball. Lesson learned: XPEL doesn’t claim to make your vehicle bulletproof—or hail-proof, for that matter. All jokes aside, this product is fantastic for its intended purpose. Just don’t expect it to be your truck’s superhero in a weather apocalypse. Highly recommend for keeping everyday wear and tear at bay!

The product is shipped in a plastic container with a squeegee to apply the film which helps reduce air bubbles.. It is one piece which can be easily cut/modified with a scissor or carpenter's knife. Application of this product is tricky. Use large volumes of water while using your hands / included tool to ensure air bubbles are reduced. I believe the product will protect my front hood from chips caused by stones. I totally expect this to be replaced in the future because of the amount of debris that my truck incurs. I found it easy to redo sections that had air bubbles making sure I added plenty of water each time. As a novice, I achieve what I think was acceptable results. I would recommend this product. The price point is low enough to provide enough protect and not be unsightly.

Not sure why people are saying it’s very hard to install, surprisingly for me, it was one of the most easy installations I’ve done. I didn’t use it for large areas, just used patches on dings in the clear coat or paint to stop water from getting under clear coat and to ensure that the dings didn’t progress. Pretty much invisible, unless you look very hard. Make sure you cut your sizes liberally, and clean the application area thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol. Then make sure you spray lots of soap water on the application surface and the adhesive part. It helps to spray the adhesive side when you start peeling it off the paper. Give it another few sprays so the squeegee can move across it easily. So far, 10/10. Will update as the film ages.

good quality, good protection and adhesion, when price goes down will buy two more for the second car

The film was easy to me to install my only issue is there were black specks in different areas I thought it was just contamination and that I would be able to spray it off with one of my solutions. Never came out it is like trapped in the film itself. Which sucks because how can I return something that I have cut up and used already. And I even tried to contact the seller and no response to my question before I even tried to use it. So didn't get the service I need ed and didn't get the quality of product I was expecting. I will upload pictures shortly too.

Used on set of fog light this will extend life of covers strong easy to work with use heat gun for extra stretch. sticks well on fog lights can be used for almost anything good price clear good visibility

貼りやすいしお勧めです。貼り方はユーチューブでも紹介されていますが、水をたっぷりつけて施工してください。 ただ、ゴム手袋は必須です。手の指紋がつく可能性が高いです。指紋がついたら目立ちますし、とれません。 私はヘッドライトに施工しましたが見事に指紋が付きました。気になりますがもったいないのでそのままです。

This was sold as an 84 inch roll of protective film however after I had started using it and realising that it was running out very quickly I measured the full roll and it’s only 60 inches.
