Must have for novice wine makers
This is the perfect corker for craft wine makers that are just starting out. It loads easily and is easy to use. It’s very durable and it looks just as solid as it is. I found it fun to use over my corking stand because I could change the depth of the cork instead of burying it in the neck. Great price for a great corker.

Doesn't actually cork bottles completely
Does not work. I make wine and beer. I had something that looked like this years ago for small batches. This is missing an essential mechanism that clamps around the bottle mechanically. This seems to have been engineered from a photograph and never tested. You have to squeeze so hard to keep it clamped onto the bottle that the rubber sleeve ONLY LAST FOR A SINGLY BOTTLE...this is just useless trash, since it's no good for corking bottles. You can see in my photos where the sleeves fail. You can also see that the channel is not long enough to fully insert a cork into a standard American bottle. Don't waste your money, buy from a domestic specialist for this.

Poorly built😕
This is poorly built and will not seat corks properly. I soaked the corks and each time they go in part way. In one picture I show a cork with a dime on top of it. The plunger that drives the cork is not wide enough as others have complained so I used the dime to give it more surface to contact cork. I had no problem getting force on the levers but for 4 bottles, 5 of the rubber protectors failed. They give you 12 of those so after you do 10 bottles you won’t be able to use it anymore. Sending it back.

Functional and easy
Was afraid I would have difficulty with corking after reviews stating you needed strength, but I had no issues at all as far as that goes. However, the corks don't go quite all the way in, but seems to have a good seal still. One complaint is the rubber boots literally last through corking one bottle. Think I am going to try to create my own since I have no idea where to get replacements. But for the price, I can't complain.

Works great
First off SOAK your corks overnight, you want them where you can feel just a little pliableness to the outside. If you don’t you are pushing a dry hard cork in and most likely will damage cork and lever. I took another persons suggestion and placed a dime on top of the cork before you start to press and that helped greatly.Next thing the little rubber clamp covers they stink. Wrap those metal clamps in black electrical tape and you’re good to go. Do those steps and this is a great product.

Not bad
Design is fair, but those little rubber boots that go around the neck of the bottle, tear after one use. You need a better design. You can still use product without the boot but makes it risky of slippage.
