Cable drives 4k@60hz as expected on my MacBook Pro 15" (2017) but the cable is NOT reversible! I had to put a sharpie mark on one side so I plug it in the right way. Super disappointed this doesn't follow the USB-C reversible standard, I would avoid buying this cable, but it does work.

I'm very impressed! I plugged it into one of my TVs and then my Samsung S8 plus and it worked. Every tv works perfectly and the unit does not get hot at all. For $8.99 it's less than half the price of most other options with bad reviews!

External display is not properly detected after rebooting my iMac until I unplug the USB-C end and plug it back in. It doesn't work if I re-plug the HDMI end, only the USB-C end.

Worked for 2 weeks then was unrecognizable on pc and tv.

This is super cool! Ive never had an HDMI that connected my phone to the tv. Its so awesome being able to connect my phone to a 50 inch tv and play a game or watch a movie.My phone is an LG V20 with android 7.0 (nougat) and there was no special settings needed. My phone automatically detected the connection as "charging only" however the image of my phones screen appeared on the TV immediately. The sound works great and the video streams flawlessly in high quality with no delays at all. My daughter saw my trying this out and wanted one for her iphone immediately. The quality of this cord is solid. Its not cheaply made and I imagine it will hold up as good as any regular HDMI cord (which for me has been many years). I can't see how you can go wrong with this. I've spent mayne years downloading movies to my phone then transferring them to my laptop, then connecting the laptop to the tv via HDMI to stream it. This is a huge time saver and makes the process of watching movies super simple. But playing games is the best.One other thing - if the phone is held vertically, the screen will appear in the middle of the tv screen - the height equal to the height of the tv screen, but the width very narrow. You have to turn your phone sideways to make the widescreen work. So make sure you have your screen rotation lock off on your phone ;)

Thought it would work for connecting a third monitor via type c to my laptop but it appears i either dont have the right type c out or i need a connector to do this. But it worked perfect from my phone to a monitor. Easy to use

Finally full UHD at 60Hz! I had tried some other connectors and it was not working at more than 2K. Now I have this fantastic feeling cable, the connectors look very solid. The packaging is simple but sufficient. Good build and happy to recommend to anyone.

Worked with my Galaxy S8 exactly as it was described. This along with a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse and I was able to stream from my Plex server to my phone and view it all on the hotel television!

Works just fine with my 2017 MBP.
