Nice DIY friendly AC
I bought two of these units and installed them myself. I followed the instructions and took my time. Everything came together neatly and my wife says it looks like a professional installation. It cools the room nicely. Our bedroom gets warmer than the rest of the house and this really helps at night. I'm hoping it will hold up to the summer heat in Phoenix but only time will tell. So far I'm extremely satisfied with this product and if it only works for even 5 years it would be worth it to me. Hopefully it will last longer. It's pretty quiet. I mounted the outside unit on the wall and you can hear it a little when you turn down the temperature and it has to really start working but generally I don't hear anything. When I turn the unit off, I'll hear some noises like rattling in the wall but that came after I used spray foam insulation to fill the hole inside the wall. I was quoted almost 10k dollars to install 2 of these and a bigger one for the living room. I didn't install a bigger one in my living room but installed 2 of these in bedrooms and it was asking 2k including the electrical, wall mount, line set cover, hole saw, vacuum pump, and all the other necessary tools and stuff that I didn't have. I would definitely recommend this. It even works with my Google home app and I can change the temperature by asking Google which is a nice touch.

So far so good.
We’ve had this installed for about a week and it’s working very well. Our house is about 1200sqft and it heats and cools our entire house. My husband was able to install it in a few hours after watching YouTube videos for instruction beforehand. So far I really recommend this. Will update review if there are any negatives to add. It can also be controlled with the app which is super convenient if we are not home.

Great functionality can’t beat the price. Installer said it was great.
Installed this in my cabin in the white mountains beginning of April and it has been a dream. Guests have really enjoyed how easy it is to use versus the gas fireplace. Ended up buying two more for my new property. Hopefully they really work well in super cold winter, but seem like a great product.

Rocky transaction but good customer support resolved issues to a good transaction overall.
I ordered the 18000 BTU unit and it arrived quickly. Unfortunately the compressor unit was damaged in shipping i.e. not fixable/usable. I contacted the seller, sent pictures, and they replaced the unit quickly. I had the units installed by a local HVAC installer and I am satisfied with the performance with the heating ability so far. Northern region of PA. Be careful about getting a tax credit. This unit is not Tax credit qualified in PA.....considered northern region by the IRS. Even though it is supposed to perform in temperatures -15 deg F. It would qualify south of PA. I WOULD buy another one from this seller.I do recommend having a HVAC installer install it for you. Its better for your warranty too.Take pictures of everything and pay attention to all the bar codes you will need the serial numbers to register the warranty with Della. Good Luck.

DIY install was pretty straightforward, and saved me a TON of money!
I had gotten a few bids to add a mini-split heat pump to one of the rooms in my house, and they were all in the $7K range, which I didn't want to spend. Part of that cost was going to be the cost of installing a new 220v outlet. This is basically the biggest BTU heat pump that can run on a standard 110V outlet, and so I decided to take on the project myself!I added a ducting kit, a surface wire run, a wall mount for the compressor, a long heavy gauge power cord, AND a vacuum pump for getting the refrigerant lines set up, and the total bill was about $1350, which was way more palatable than $7K!This unit comes with everything you need otherwise, including a wall transit tube for the refrigeration lines, putty to fill the gaps, a flange for the outside of the wall transit tube, etc.I have never done this before, but it wasn't too bad. I watched their install video, and did a few YouTube videos to get myself up to speed. All in all, it was about 9 hours of work, including all the ducting, vacuuming the lines, and everything. And I did it all by myself. The indoor unit isn't too heavy, and it wasn't too hard lifting it into place on the bracket by myself.I have had it installed for about a month now, and it has been used in both heating and cooling mode. The remote is pretty decent, but I'm mostly using the cell phone app to control it, which gives you a bit more control, like what blowing pattern to use. (It can blow up, down, left, right, or any combination of those, with its "precision flow" settings. So you can have it automatically blowing in a changing pattern.)I have not noticed any big hit on my power bill during that time, and it is keeping that room quite comfortable! And the indoor unit makes basically no sound. The compressor is wall mounted to the back of my garage, and I can hear a little hum when the compressor is running, but I don't care, because it's my garage. I would not want to do a wall mount for the compressor on a wall of an an interior room of my house, because even though it is quiet, it is noticeable. So in that case, I would add a pad on the ground and mount it to that.So even though the manual states that it should be installed by a professional, if you're moderately handy, have the time, and don't mind searching YouTube for pointers on how to do things like vacuum the lines, it really was a good DIY install! The only downside of that is that I can't get my state's tax credit for installing an efficient system, unless I went through the hassle of registering myself as a "qualified installed", which I could have done, but I'm super happy with both the cost and the result, so I decided not to go through that step.

Perfect replacement for old electric heat!
I read reviews from several manufacturers, this is the only one I found that tries to address the mold issues. It took a while to get installed just because our refrigeration guy was so busy. I highly recommend professional insulation. He usually installs another brand and was happy with the ease of installation.I like that it connects to Alexa, but so far I can only turn it on or off using it.The phone app is great and easier to use for me.I did have an issue with the remote an after speaking with customer service, I was sent a replacement promptly. We have a 24000 btu unit at one end of a 16 x 32 ft room and it warms / cools the space in no time. It’s very quiet even in turbo mode. It’s already saving us a ton of money.I love this unit, and recommend it highly!
