Amazing quality product, highly recommend it. I really like the easy to read OLED screen. The menus are easy to figure out but I do recommend reading the online manual to ensure you know which buttons do what. It’s so easy to use and user friendly. It works with my Nintendo Switch 2 pro controller and my Nintendo Switch 2 joycons. I used it for Animal Crossing New Horizons, but also plan on using it for Zelda Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. They already have Yunobo and the other Tears of the Kingdom amiibo installed, which is super helpful because I wanted to keep my Tears of the Kingdom amiibo sealed in their boxes. If you are a collector like me and like to keep your amiibo inside the box, but you still want the freedom of playing Nintendo games with amiibo, you need this. I even saw it has the Super Mario Odyssey cereal box tag, it’s a very extensive collection. The price for this is a great value.Another thing I like about it is the little device flashes with a tiny blue LED flicker after it’s scanned, giving a nice visual cue that your scan went through to the game. Charging is easy, it comes with a little charging cord and it doesn’t take much time to charge in full.It also comes with a tiny lanyard that I suggest putting on the device to make it easier to find. The device is small so could easily be lost in the couch, but if you put the lanyard on it you’ll probably see the lanyard sticking up thru the cushions. :-) I like the lanyard because I can hang my Flashiibo Pro on a key ring for easy access and so I never forget where I put it. It’s so lightweight you can hang it anywhere, or store it just about anywhere. It’s small enough to fit inside my Switch 2 carrying case.Disclaimer: I tried to make a video review but the OLED screen kept flashing weird in the recording. Just take my word for it, the product is fantastic.

I got the Flashmiibo Pro OLED. The version delivered is actually the Pro 2 (second generation). It is the only Pro version being shipped via Amazon at this writing. It is easy to tell the second from the first generation as the second generation has 3 buttons on it. Let me tell you, those buttons make the unit far easier to navigate than previous iterations.In my experience here are the pros and cons.Pros: I have limited brain capacity due to COVID. I was still able to get it set up with the help of the discord community. I think I read the very thorough instructions 20 times or more. I watched the couple of videos available and still needed the community. If you are of even half a brane you can probably figure this out on your own. I certainly would have been able to do it pre COVID. Yes, this is a Pro comment as the community really shined and was very patient with me.When the unit ships, the package was plenty sturdy to protect this tiny unit.The OLED screen is fantastic, especially when you think about other versions having no such thing as several lines of text in the menus.So far I am only using mine for Tears of the Kingdom. I bought the card set for about the price of one amiibo and got them all, BUT, they are so tiny they will be very easy to lose some. Not so with this unit. It is very small, but plenty large to not get lost easily.I don't remember exactly how many amiibos are out there for all the games, but this unit has plenty of room in it for thousands of them. There can only be up to 100 per list, but as far as I can tell, there are unlimited lists and it is easy to set them up and to use them. It is all in the instructions.I keep mentioning the instructions. They are not included in the package. There are instructions for downloading them from online. It was easy and the print was easier for me to see anyway.The poor ratings you might find for the lanyard that comes with it problem certainly didn't apply to my unit. The lanyard is securely placed and it sure doesn't look like I am ever going to have any problem with it.I believe the unit was designed in the USA, built in China for them and shipped to the USA for distribution. When you order from Amazon it is delivered quickly.My older laptop had no problem at all connecting via bluetooth.You can use this device with PC, iPhone, or Android. I think Mac, too.Cons:It is a little small. If you have clumsy fingers, you will have to be careful to hit the right buttons. Still, it is far better than other styles of similar product. I didn't try, but you might get 8 of these in a cigarette pack.I think they are difficult to find in the UK and maybe a little pricier. They are working on this.The unit will not communicate with your PC or smart phone via the included USB cable. It is for charging. Bluetooth is fairly self explanatory if you just follow the prompts for your device.Overall, am I happy with this purchase? I am thrilled. It is working perfectly and sure makes playing my Switch more fun.
