Great collars, nice and tight, perfect for the home gym.
I bought these collars for the ends of my barbells in my home gym, and they’ve been exactly what I needed. My bars have a shorter sleeve, so there’s not much room for bulky collars, but these are low-profile and fit perfectly. They hold the weights tight with no slipping during lifts, even with some heavier plates. Easy to snap on and off, and they feel secure once locked in place. For the price, the quality is solid, and they’ve made workouts smoother. I’m already thinking of grabbing another set in the next couple of weeks just to have spares or use on my other bar. Great little upgrade for a home gym setup.

Spend a little more on collars for the bougie experience
Once you got magnet collars, you don't go back. Very easy to store by clipping them randomly on uprights. Added bonus they seem to fit smaller sleeves too so don't need specialty collars for like your specialty bars and stuff

Great slim design collars for your workouts!
Love these collars! The slim design is nice especially if in your gym bag or using to secure weights on a rack. They do have great hold and I would compare them to similar Lockjaw products in that manner. I originally bought these to secure plates to the rack in my home gym since I have a little one around and want to keep them safe. I then tried them out at my local box gym in the winter and loved the grip and portability.

Solid easy to use barbell collars, but the magnets will not hold on smooth sufaces
As other reviews have noted the magnetic force is not strong enough to hold these BOS barbell collars onto a smooth surface. However, if you have a textured surface they will stay where you put them. I like that BOS added the magnets, and they hold on the surface I leave them on. Just know that you might not be so lucky if the surface you want to use is smooth. These Barbell collars are very convenient to use with their very well designed leaver arms. I have used many styles over the years, and these are honestly my favorite to use day to day. The locking, unlocking, and mounting to a barbell are very easy. The way the lever arms work, the collars stay fully open so putting the collar on is a one handed operation. That said, the clamping force is not great on 50mm bars, these move down the barbell noticeably during every set I use them, so I do not use them for high weight explosive exercises. However, for 2/3rds of what I do, I love to use these. They do hold a little better on standard 2 inch bars though, but again they do move around a bit more than some of my other clamps.

My new favorite collars!
Great! Easy on and off and magnetic to stick to the rack so you’re no constantly wondering where you put them. I was so pleased with them,I bought another pair. Just call me Carnegie since I’m jacking so much steel.

I got 3 sets and they're GREAT!
Great fit and ease of use. Work way better than the cheapies on temu which are too tight to fit on Olympic bars.

tried but couldn't use
Pretty much unusable. They don't tighten very well around the plates, not sure why. They barely close on the ends of the bar, and close maybe 1 out of 10 times at the plate. Not sure if it's because the tolerances are very tight (maybe my bar isn't perfectly flush?). Tried it on various bars, including a Rogue Ohio bar, no dice. Pretty much a waste.

magnets weak, collars work well, 1" thick, irritating burrs on the plastic
i love having a magnet, and that it's 1/2" thinner than most collars. the magnets feel really strong, against each other, or against the areas of my power rack that are almost bare metal, but feel weak against the heavily painted uprights. they will even slide down the uprights, so i put them on the corner pieces. very tight hold on the bar, as good or better than my more recognizable name brand, but more difficult to close, too. i had to bring out my file set and head-magnifier, to de-burr many of the edges. it wasn't dangerous, but it just bothered me. very minor changes, but had to make in a lot of places.
