Nicely moisturizing - great for travel
This moisturizer claims to be a "triple threat" and can be used as a primer, moisturizer, or a face mask.As a "primer", it's ok. It doesn't *quite* smooth out the uneven areas of my skin the way that a true primer does, but it does an ok job of preparing my skin for additional product and seems to work well on top of a moisturizer. I would say it offers 85 - 90% the smoothness of a primer-only product.I haven't used this as a face mask yet, but I have used this as a moisturizer - over and over. I really like the tube form factor of the moisturizer. I find it super easy to squeeze out the amount I need and apply it. This is THE moisturizer I reach for when my face feels dry, or when my face maybe isn't responding well to a different product. It moisturizes really well and has a soothing and calming effect. What I like about this is that it can serve multiple purposes - moisturizer and primer (possibly also face mask, I just stink at using this wipe on/off kind of mask). This also comes in a 50ml tube, which is travel friendly, and who doesn't love a product that can multitask while traveling?!

Tightens and firms
…but let it absorb for 3-5 minutes. It was making my foundation pill when I used it as a primer until I gave it longer to absorb.

Too Sticky For Me
This review is for the Shielded Beauty Triple Threat Treatment, Hydrating Face Mask, Moisturizer, and Makeup Primer, Moisturizing Ingredients to Help Hydrate & Boost Dry Skin - 50ml.This product confuses me. I'm not sure how one product can do all three: moisturize, primer, and a mask. I waited to give a review on this because I wanted to see how it worked for all three ways. Although I have used other products from this company and have liked them, this one just doesn't it for me. Why? It is extremely sticky when you put it on.I couldn't use it as a primer because it stayed sticky for way too long. I don't have the time to wait before applying the rest of my makeup. When I applied it as a moisturizer, it was the same thing. I even tried it on the rest of my body to see if it soaked up more quickly, but it didn't. As a mask? Well, I'm not sure it did anything. I just wanted to wash it off my face.Others have liked this product, so it just may not be for me. I will not order this product again.

Good product
The Shieled Beauty triple threat treatment is marketed as a face mask, moisturizer, and makeup primer. I felt that the product works pretty well overall. The cream goes on smoothly and absorbs well. There's not much of a scent to it. The moisturizing was decent, but not the best. As a primer, it did a good job, but there are better standalone primers. Like with any combo product, you can probably find individual product that do each function better, but with this product, you are getting the convenience of having multiple features in one.

Love this treatment
It has multiple uses and really saves your skin. This can be used as primer, face lotion and mask. It can be used however you want it to be used.

If only it had SPF! Pretty awesome as a primer
I was skeptical when this came because the tube is so small and it’s pretty pricey for a brand I’ve never heard of. I tried it on my hands first, which are super dry. My skin immediately soaked it in, and the moisture lasted the rest of the day (almost like that Gloves in a Bottle lotion). Water practically rolled off when I washed my hands! I swear it took 20 years off… my hands look so much younger!I tried it on my face later that night after using my raw African Black Soap. If you’ve ever used that magical soap, you know it can leave your skin pretty dry. I always use a heavy moisturizer afterward, but it seems to clog my pores and cause more breakouts. This stuff left my skin so hydrated, more firm, and not greasy at all.The formula itself is thin and lightweight, almost like a gel-serum. When it soaks in, my skin feels more supple, firm, and super smooth. I’ve used it as a primer before foundation, and it worked well! My makeup looks more airbrushed and less textured. Enlarged pores literally vanish. If it had an SPF, it’d be the perfect cream!!! Wish it was bigger for this price, but it seems worth it with these results. I’ll buy it again!UPDATE: I read a review that stated you’re supposed to wipe the cream off with a tissue (and they didn’t understand the purpose of that). They didn’t read the directions fully, lol. To use as a moisturizer, apply and let it absorb. No need to wipe off. To use it as a MASK, apply it thicker, wait 5 mins, then tissue it off. I did that last night and HOLY MOLY MOTHER OF MOTHERS…. My skin is so flippin’ soft and even-toned today. *NO NEW BREAKOUTS* either.

Locks in mositure
Shielded Beauty Triple Threat Treatment can be used one of three ways: as a mask, moisturizer, or makeup primer. Since I do not wear makeup, I tried it as a mask and moisturizer. When I used it as a mask, I applied a small amount to clean dry skin. I left the mask on for about 40 minutes, after which it rinsed away reasonably quickly. My skin retained a supple, moisturized feel for the day. I applied a small amount to my skin as a moisturizer after washing and drying. Again, my skin felt moisturized all day. The cream has a slight rose scent but did not overwhelm my senses. The product is pricey but versatile, and a little goes a long way.

Tries to do too much.
I have dry, irritated winter skin and was not that impressed with Shielded Beauty Triple Threat Moisturizer. As a moisturizer it is not hydrating enough for winter use. As a primer there are others I prefer for the same or less money. As a mask it misses the mark as well. Best to concentrate on one skin area and do a great job.
