Good but....
I really enjoyed reading this history of Vilate Murray Kimball. I am a history buff and I love learning about new people and places. The letters are touching and the trials that they went through were heartrending. You cannot help but admire them. The only issue I had with her writing is that there was a great deal of supposition on the author's part on how Vilate must have been feeling during these times. I am more of a stickler for facts and prefer to hear what they thought from their writings or the reports of others, but that is just me. Great book!

An important biography of an important Mormon pioneer. More research should be conducted to understand the important historical role played by the early women of the Church.
