I never had deer in my yard before this past winter, but it was colder than usual. I emerged to examine the garden early Spring only to find that the shrub border I babied all last year had been eaten flat. All my viburnums, my button bush, my plum, eaten to the ground. My perennials as well. I began buying these and putting them around my plants, a bit belatedly to be sure, but they work. Most of my shrubs are making a recovery, and even some of the perennials. These are nice because you can make them bigger or smaller. I use two, in an eye shape, for small plants, or three, in a circle, for shrubs. These should give the newly established plants a chance to get big enough to where some deer browse isn't going to kill them.

Love this product. I had rabbits, deers and squirrels in my beautiful flowers. Now, they do not put holes in my planters and my leaves are flourishing. I purchased a second set for my hostas. If necessary, I will purchase them again. They are easily install and do the job by preventing them from destroying my garden. I’d recommend them in a New York minute.

Not full metal design, more like a coated wire. This makes it a little flimsier than expected, but still seems to be holding up well. It’s nice that they are so adjustable, and came with ample zip ties and metal stakes

These are great for keeping critters away from your small plants. Place a piece of plastic netting across the top and even birds can't attach your plants. I use these around flowers, seedlings, and small nut trees. Good investment.

I needed to fence my baby roses as I live near the easement where we have squirrels eaten the newly growth. Love it that the wired fencing is flexible, has plenty of zip ties (like 30+), and can create the size you want with a lid or not. The stakes are easy to put down as the soil is moisten. The only thing is that the stakes doesn’t stay kiss to the ground but pop up just a little. Still my plants are safe.

The picture description shows round wire tubes.The items received were flat square ( 40 ) little panels that would have to be assembled using very small zip ties. My guess is that it would require 2 ties per each side ( 4) and you would end up with 10 square cubes, not round ones as shown.A lot of work for my arthritic hands.I do not recall reading any reference to assemble required.

Not what I expected, but maybe I didn't read the description well enough. Bought these to protect blueberry bushes. These come in square/rectangles, depending on how you want to put them together. I did the rectangle design. Had to use 3 cable ties per side...that was 12 ties per cage. Then anchored them down with the U-nails, one at each corner. The "cage" is somewhat flimsey. Not sure they will keep critters out. Wire is very thin.

These work well to keep the bunnies out of my garden, even though they are only 12 inches tall and bunnies hop... they don't hop over these! saved my flower bed. They are thin/flexible enough to bend as needed. They probably wouldn't withstand being attacked by a larger animal, and if you are using them as a garden border, the squirrels still get in easily.
