I bought the brown in this dual ended shadow liner. I was looking for a liner that could be used top and bottom, as well as on the upper waterline. I was happy to see the brown had no red hue to make my eyes look like they were sore. It went on creamy and smooth. Minimal transfer until set and stayed all day. Both pencil ends are forgiving and easily blended. The result was a soft smokey smudge look. No harsh line and a nice neutral brown. Great for most days. It did not bother or blur my contact lenses.

This is one of the better smudging eyeliners I own. It goes on quickly and easily, even though I struggle to apply my eyeliner. The two sides apply with the same consistency of texture and color but are different enough in thickness to be noticeable and allow for different looks. The color can also be left dark as it’s applied or smudged down to shades of grays and blacks.I’ve found that this eyeliner will continue to smudge directly after I apply it for about ten minutes, which gives me plenty of time to get it how I want it, but that also means I have to remember not to touch it until it’s set. Once it is, however, I have to either rub it hard or use waterproof eye makeup remover to remove it.I only had one complaint about this duo eyeliner: it doesn’t come with a smudge tool. I own two—a slim eyeliner brush and a smudge tip that came with a kohl eyeliner stick–so I tried both. The brush didn’t work well enough for me to attempt it again, but the smudge tip worked as well for this eyeliner as it does for my kohl stick. I also tried my finger, but I don’t recommend that as I couldn’t get precise enough to do what I wanted; additionally, it was difficult to wash it off my finger if I didn’t get to it quickly enough before it set.Overall, I’m pleased. Like every eyeliner I’ve owned, this one has a bit of a learning curve, but I’m certain it’ll become one of my go-to pencils once I find my best technique.

This review is for the Juniper Green Smokey Eye Duo by Iconic. Most people I guess, when they think of a smokey eye, are envisioning brown/neutral tones, but for those of us with hazel-colored eyes, this green combo really works to accentuate the green in them. The colors are rich and beautiful, with some pretty sparkle when seen in direct sunlight.These eyeshadow sticks are genius in how they make eyeshadow application so easy, but for this Iconic shadow be ready with your blending brush/stick because it does like to stay in one place! It seemed like the longer I left it on my lid, it became more of a challenge to blend. Once blended to my liking it was just gorgeous, so well worth the effort to my mind. And once you get it on, it's not going anyplace anytime soon. After hours of wearing in humid vacation climate, it had not migrated into the eyelid creases or faded at all. Even in the worst of humidity and heat I felt no need to reapply throughout the day.The downside of this staying power is that I had to break out the make-up remover wipes to get it completely off. Just trying to remove the test patches on my arm took a good scrubbing with hand soap, so yes, wipes specifically intended for makeup removal will work best. The selling price of $25. (at time of this review) seems a bit steep, but I do think this eyeshadow with its excellent performance is worth it.

This eyeliner is creamy and goes on smoothly. There is a short window of time where it can be smeared by accident or for a more smokey look. It is waterproof but will fade if you rub it. I like the dual sides which gives more or less fine lining.

I'm always rubbing my eyes at the end of the day, I can't help it. My shadow takes a beating because of it too, and I always have zero eye makeup on by 3 pm. I'm not the kind to keep a makeup bag in my desk at work. But...I can keep a pencil in my purse! I love love this because the dual end makes it a breeze to swipe on a bit of color to keep your eyes defined. A fine side for lining, a broad side for filling, with smooth and creamy color that stays on. It will smudge (sorry!), but you have to give it a good rub for it to do so. Even when it smudges it still looks great - the color remains, and a tiny touchup with a dab of tissue will take care of the problem. This is now one of the only two pieces of makeup I bother to keep on my person at all times (the other is lipstick, of course!).
