Did exactly what it was supposed to do. I needed an FXO port to handle an analog door security system, and make a call out to a VoIP number. No problems.

Muy bien, funcionando con asterisk tanto en modo fxs como fxo. No trae manual y para algunos parámetros te tienes que buscar la vida porque los tonos de las líneas cambian en cada país o incluso con cada operadora. Hay un manual en su propia web pero no está demasiado bien. Tiene además un modo en el que si falla la centralita voip, se auto puentea haciendo que suene el teléfono conectado al aparato cuando alguien llama.

Seemed like a good solution, but alas it was a nightmare. There are 80 different scenarios, and you must wade through them to find a solution for the application. Multiple emails (no phone) to tech support have yielded nothing so far. It is unclear whether these units will ever work. At some point soon I will cut losses and go with a different brand. This unit does not have a default common setting out of the box, and it should. Most who buy an adapter like this only need it for one simple thing, a single-line handset without any frills. Oh well
