We had bought Plantronics headsets for years but we've always had customers complain that they can hear other team members when on the phone to us. We decided to try this headset out instead based on the reviews on noise cancelling. Safe to say, we will never buy Plantronics again and will always opt for these Earbay headsets. We have run multiple tests and even if there's loads of background noise you cannot hear it on the call recordings. Well done Earbay, your product is more affordable and it's 100 times better than the competition.

It's OK.That automatic "Mute on / Mute off" annoys me, bit disruptive overlay on the call. Happens whether you click the button on cord control or in your calling app, could not find a way to disable it.

I have been using this for MS Teams and there is plenty to like about it.* Comfortable on the head and ears with the adjustable headband and the swivel earpads with 180 degrees range.* The sound and mic sound good.* It’s noise-cancelling without cupping your ears, so your ears don’t get as hot when using for a long time like they would with other headsets with ear cushions that surround your ears (on-ear as opposed to over-ear).* The mic arm is flexible in many directions and stays in place once satisfied.* The mic can be on the right or the left as the headset can be worn either way round.* The wire connecting to the laptop is long enough and there is a lapel clip there to keep it out of the way.* It has the buttons you'd expect with volume up/down and mute.* It comes in a protective cloth pouch that protects the headset when not in use.The only negative I have, which isn't enough to knock a star off, is that when you mute/unmute via the button it says in your ear “mute on”/”mute off” which drowns out the Teams conversation so you might miss something during that second.All-in-all then an affordable, comfortable USB headset that works well.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🎧

I'm no audiophile, but these headphones have served me very well for a few weeks and sound quality is good. They've withstood daily use (along with some more heavy-handed resilience testing from the dog) and are still going strong. I generally prefer a wired set for my laptop, as I'm sitting in one place and it's nice not having to think about charging them up, as I do with Bluetooth sets. The cushioning is comfortable, and they haven't caused any sore areas that I've found with other headphones. I've only used the mic once to test, as I don't often need this function, but the sound was good and it's a useful feature to have for the occasions when I am using video conferencing software. The mic can be rotated away from the face when not in use.I didn't realise at time of ordering that these have USB-A and USB-C connectors, which isn't a problem for my primary purpose with the laptop, but does exclude my ability to use them with a phone or any other portable music device I have, as these require audio jack connections. I'm sure there are adapters I could buy if I needed to use with my small devices.The cushions don't envelop the whole ear, so they don't eliminate external noise quite as much as headphones that do cover the ear, but I haven't noticed much noise pollution when listening to music or videos, and it's a trade-off, as larger ear cushions do seem more likely to cause some discomfort by putting a little too much pressure on the area behind the ear.The in-line control is great for easy management of volume & mute (and there's a phone button on there, too, but I haven't been able to test that)They are light and come with a protective bag, so I'd be happy to travel with them.

Item arrived in what seemed a small box, but that was somewhat deceptive. The headset was in a satin feel bag along with a USB-A (primary connection) to USB-C adaptor (with indicator light, nice) and the instruction documents, polished surfaces were protected with plastic film.I had no problems connecting this to my phone or PC.I'm impressed with the considerations that have gone into this headset, there is articulation where others I have used in the past have had none, this makes the whole thing "adapt" to my head shape better and makes them far more comfortable to wear. The ear parts are free to rotate (cable allowing) in a couple of axes again this takes some pressure off where they touch your head. That having been said the pads on them are soft, pliant and easy to hear through. There is a generous amount of extension available on both sides of the headband to cater for people of most sizes I'm sure.I very much like the spoken notification that the mute is on, that could save some embarrassment, and again when it is off. Indicator lights are also a helpful addition to these phones.Sound quality is very good in the headset, I am informed that the microphone is "clear" sounding when on a call.In summary, a headset aimed at online meetings and calls, something comfort plays an important part in, given the length of some of them. Well presented, attractive looking (in my opinion), audible warnings for mute and appropriate sound quality. They do what they set out to do. Good item.
