well worth the money
I have used this Simder 10 in 1 welder, and plasma cutter several times. I'm repairing a Chevy Silverado truck frame and it has worked pefectly. The plasma cutter cut out the rotted cross members with ease, and the Flux core mig welding feature works great. I had to adjust the settings a bit from what they were, but once dialed in it worked perfect. I've seen videos of pros saying these are no good, but my experience with this machine have been great. Sure you can spend a bunch more on different machines and name brands, but if your just using it on average projects this machine will do the job. I would recommend this to friends or family if they asked.

Good value. Love the plasma cutter. Works best at 220 - 240v
Received the welder quickly and undamaged. Have only used it for the plasma cutter and stick welder so far. Instructions do not exist except for the quick guide. I was able to find setup instructions and recommended settings through online searches and YouTube videos. I created an extension cord connector to connect the three prong plug on the welder to a four prong plug for my generator at 240v. Love the plasma cutter. Worked well with 90 psi air and 240v. Would not recommend for 110v. Still not sure about all of the settings for the plasma cutter without instructions. Stick welder worked well on 240v at 100 -130 amps for 6011 3/32 rods. Will update my review once I use the TiG and MiG function. So far, has been worth the price.

THREE defective welders in a ROW! NO quality control!
I received THREE defective Simder multi-process welders, each with different processes that wouldn't work. I emailed with them for over a month, & they quit responding after saying that they were going to "check with tech support" when the Tig amperage wasn't adjustable when set to foot pedal, although it would adjust when set to torch. The settings didn't hold when you switched back to foot pedal, so it was at 20A! I was a month past the Amazon return period, so I called them, forwarded the 43 emails between me & Simder, sent a screenshot of the last emails without a response, & Amazon is refunding me! ALWAYS BUY THROUGH AMAZON!

This is a really good multi-function welder
I have a 250-amp wire feed. I saw a youtube video of this machine, did a little more research and ordered this online. It works just like it says it will. I leave flux core wire setup in it because I have the other 250 amp wire feed welder and have found flux core to be a good alternative to using gas shield. I also leave the plasma torch setup, it is the handiest tool when compared to oxy-acetylene, cut off wheels, or a hacksaw. I have tried the stick rod a few times and it works very well, it has settings to help strike an arc. I should try ith mig welder with the pulse or spray setting and see how that works. This is a really good little machine I would buy it again if this one broke down, but isn't it a 5 year warranty? Hope I don't have to find out.

Smooth running and compact.
I’m impressed with this little welder I bought it mainly to complete one weeklong project to be clear. I’ve been using the flux core and mig mixed gas functions. Also, the plasma cutter. I have not used the Tig and other functions. I really needed something affordable in versatile just to get me through that one project and since I’ve been continuing to use it at home and the little thing is one of the best smoothest welders I’ve used for smaller stuff. The plasma cutter is surprisingly smooth compared to big box named brands too. I can’t speak for the longevity of this product just yet, but I suppose if it screws up prematurely, I’ll come back and update this review. But so far I’m extremely happy with this welder/plasma cutter.

They stand by their products.
I’ve had my welder for over a year with no issues but I’m also not welding daily either. I was having some problems setting up the welder for DC Tig or MIG. I reached out to their customer service and after showing the issues on a video they just sent me a new one.

If you're getting this for the aluminum pulse function then don't because you'll be disappointed
Edit. It still welds ok but can't weld aluminum using the pulse setting, which is No.1 reason why I purchased this welder. Anytime I set it to pulse it just burns back into the tip and melts it. The wire feed speed will only go up to 429 ipm no matter how high you set the amps. I've tried turning down the volts but that didn't help. I'm just glad I purchased the 3 yr asurion protection plan or I'd be stuck with this thing. Hopefully I get decent service out of them but Simder doesn't seem to care about the customer. I changed it from 4 to 3 stars because it welds steel just fine but aluminum with pulse doesn't work at all! Had it now for over a year and I’m well pleased
