Low Quality Knockoff But Could Suffice
I'm not in love with this dress. It's not sufficiently like the advertised photos for me to feel great about the purchase, personally. There's less/different lace, and different sorts of flounces and ruffles from what's pictured; it's a thin fabric; and the size M was enormous on me (I'm 5'6 and a half tall, 120-125 lbs). The neckline is also a bit higher than I expected. It zips up the back and there are no attractive decorations on the back of the dress at all.On the positive side, my husband thought I looked adorable. A hooped petticoat underneath gave the correct shape to the skirt. I cinched the waist tight with a pretty pink belt and (very important to note!!) I *safety-pinned* the dress to make the shoulders narrower and to gather the sleeves tighter just above the elbows.This makes a good dress for a modest Little Bo Peep type of look, and if you have low expectations, you may be pleased. I bought this dress as a back-up in case my other choice (a pinkish-purple ruffled ballgown) wasn't as advertised or didn't come in time for Halloween. For me, the other dress fits my needs better, because I'm going for a more princess-y sort of look.
