My 9 1/2 year old wanted the Gothic Prom Queen Costume for Halloween and I ordered the 12-14 size thinking it would allow her to wear layers. My daughter is an average height for her age and quite thin - this costume was short and I made her wear a dress under it so she was covered modestly in her legs. I'd say it ran small over all. I'd hate to think what would have happened had I ordered in her actual size! Also, the top looks nothing like the picture and neither did the skirt - ours had much less fabric. Also, the crown promptly broke when we tried to assemble it so we couldn't even wear it - not that it would have stayed on anyway most likely. Appealing costume to this age group but the quality was not the best. If you like the costume, look for a sale on it before buying it. The $25 I paid is a tad over-priced for what we received, in my opinion. Had it been in the $15 price range, I might have felt more satisfied with what we received.

For the money it was worth it- we glammed it up with some great makeup, leggings with fishnets over them, wacky zombie prom-like hair and jewelry- and added a dead corsage. Overall, the tutu material was cute- the gown is not really a one piece dress, but it does the job. The kids loved it and had fun- that’s all that mattered!

Thia dress was cute but poorly constructed. The straps broke the first time my daughter put thos on for Halloween. She safety pinned the straps so she could wear it on Halloween. Disappointed it broke so quick.

Used as this year's Halloween costume for my 9 yr daughter. It fit perfect around the chest/waist, was just a little long but we liked that about it. She wore it twice, once with shorts under that didnt show and the second time w/ pants because it was chilly and it didnt take away from the prom dress look. The crown is a little cheap as others have mentioned but ours didnt break at all. The straps however did break but because the top is elastic it stayed up throughout the night. Also had her wear an undershirt. She loved the costume and we were happy with our purchase.

This worked great for us! I used it as a costume for a play. The "tiara" is a throw-away. You might want to have a second option in mind because ours broke right after opening it. Didn't affect our use of the costume, but just FYI. I thought it covered the front of my actress well. The only thing to think about is that the top does not cover the person's shoulders. We put a thin lacy top underneath, but this was just to make the actress more comfortable. This fit a very small 7th grader.

Fairly disappointed. I order a lot from Rubie's and I've never had this bad of quality before. Nothing like the picture. The tulle on the dress is only on the sides, and doesn't cover the front or the back. ALL the seams are sewn crooked. The gathers at the top of the dress don't actually gather. they are stitched crooked and the texture is shredded fabric, not gathered fabric as pictured. The dress is actually a dark grey, not black, and there is a black lace sewn very haphazardly on the bottom of the skirt. The corset isn't a corset. Its a 1/2 cumber-bun. It only covers the front part of the top (ties in the back), and doesn't go all the way to the top of the dress, just by the waist.. literally a cumber-bun. Unfortunately it will cost too much to ship back, so we are stuck with it, and will be adding pieces to better the costume.

This was exactly what I expected. It wasn't bad quality, it wasn't great quality, it was somewhere right in the middle of "I didn't spend too much on this, so I'm not mad." My daughter loved wearing it and now uses it to play in. Sizing was just-right, and it was comfortable for her to wear all night.

Le déguisement est un peu différent de la photo mais reçu in extremis avant de partir à l’école pour la fête d'Halloween donc je le conserve...La partie en tulle se limite aux côtés, cela ne fait pas tout le tour. Et ça n'est pas "bouffant". Il y a une déco rose/tête de mort à mi-hauteur de part et d'autre (très symétrique, pas comme la photo)Dans les commentaires précédents, quelqu'un parle de scratchs pour le bustier : ici pas de scratch, juste 1 sorte de lanière de part et d'autre à mi-hauteur du bustier, en polyester trop extensible (comme le dessous de la robe) donc pas terrible pour bien fixer. C'est derrière car là encore, le (demi) bustier ne fait pas tout le tour, c'est juste devant. Il est joli mais glisse un peu. L'écharpe est de la même matière aussi et fait un peu cheap.Cela ne vaut pas pas son prix de 21 euros, mais ma fille de 6 ans était contente alors... j'en demeure néanmoins satisfaite pour cette raison !Commandé en M/7 pour une enfant de 6 ans, menue.

Required for Halloween party. On trying this on, some of the flowers fell apart and the headband/tiara broke before it was even placed on the head. The headband is an integral part of the costume and now useless. The party is in two days and we have half of a costume.The outfit itself is a very nice design, sizing is about right on my nine year old. I would have recommended it if not for these faults.Update: I wrote to the supplier and asked for a replacement of the broken item. The supplier replied promptly, arranged for a replacement which arrived within the time they specified. Therefore, I have changed my review from 2stars to 5stars.

Tempi di consegna precisiLa taglia come da tabella era perfettamente adattata a mia figlia.Il prodotto e di media qualità ma fa la sua scena perfetto per la serata di Halloween.Gli accessori sono accettabili a parte il cerchietto che è veramente orribile.

This item broke very easily and did not look anything like the picture please do not waste your money on this!!!
