Very very good Vitamin C serum
I use Skin Ceuticals Vitamin C serum, but it is SO expensive. I tried this and it is pretty close to Skin Ceuticals, but much much less expensive! And very good too

Be careful. It cause to mea severe reaction.
Be careful with this product. It caused a severe reaction on my face. I only used it once, applying four drops as instructed, and my skin started to itch, turn very red, and become irritated.

Great high concentration serum with simple ingredients
Update: I tried my best to put up with this serum for 1 month. Unfortunately it burned my skin every time I used it and my skin got red and blotchy. I didn’t have that nice vitamin c glow from this serum. This serum smelled like a combination of motor oil and alcohol overtime, I think it’s the smell of the solvent which was the first ingredient, called Methoxymethylbutanol. I looked up this solvent and it can be used as a “paint” solvent. I’m not sure if it’s toxic, but I stopped using it bc I was tired of feeling the burning sensations. I haven’t tried their C Terra one which was also a popular serum. That’s too bad. Because it’s so hard to find a waterless vitamin c serum that does not use propanediol as the main solvent which tends to give that horrible sticky texture. This serum was one of the few that does not use propanediol. So I had to take down 2 more star. I do see great reviews for this product, so if you don’t have ultra sensitive skin, I would say go for it. This vitamin c is one of the potent option that’s not an L-ascorbic acid vitamin serum. The vitamin c serums with L ascorbic acid either oxidizes too fast or irritates my skin due to the low pH formulation. I do have very sensitive skin and had tingling sensations the first few times I applied, then my skin got used to it. It’s a waterless serum but it doesn’t have that horrible silicon or weird sticky feel to it. It does take a while to completely absorb so when you first apply to your skin, it can still have that mild weird sticky sensation then goes away after 15-30 minutes. I don’t have the patience to wait bc I’m a busy mom, so I just layer my Olay sensitive sunscreens SPF 30 and. Mizon BB cream on top of it and just let it absorb on its own with other products I put on the top. I’m not sure if this product would layer well with sunscreens that are 100 % mineral. It smells like motor oil because of the waterless solvent they use, so the motor oil smell might be kinda off putting for some. My other complaint is the dropper makes it hard to apply. If you have the dropper too far away from your face, the minute you take the dropper out of the bottle, the serum will drip all over the place, so you will loose the precious product. So I make sure I bring the bottle next to my face then take the dropper out and it will be on top of my face. So the serum will drop on my face instead of dripping all over my bathroom counter and wasting product. I prefer the Peter Thomas Roth’s vitamin C serum with THD ascorbate bc it’s a lotion consistency with a pump. But the absorption is questionable for the THD ascorbate and may be lower than the 3-o-ethyl ascorbic acid which is what his serum contains. Also the PTR is pricier than this serum. But I’m still going back to the PTR since I like the lotion consistency better than the thick liquid formulation of this vitamin c. I’m still giving it a 4 star (took 1 star off bc the dropper package was a bit inconvenient for me and takes a while to absorb). I would still recommend this vitamin c if you don’t wanna spend a fortune buying the gold standard Skin ceuticals or other less effective vitamin c. This is a great option to try if you can’t tolerate L-ascorbic acid.

A High-Quality Anti-Aging Serum; Skin Glows After Application.
My wife, at least in her own mind, is the arbiter of beauty products; she loves them and truly enjoys experimenting with new products. Now that’s not to imply that she’s indiscriminate in what she slavers onto her face and body; she’s not only discriminating, but also very careful. There are some very good free apps available that can provide an insightful assessment not only of individual ingredients, but many specific products as well. Of course, anybody marketing an anti-aging anything, as is the case of Medik8’s Super C Ferulic Serum, is going to get instant attention, especially from women, whose age, unfairly, is so often used as a cudgel against them. And for that reason, it is incumbent upon a perspective user, to do their own due diligence before making assumptions. That said, the Medik8 Serum, based on the cosmetic app we use, Yuka, proved to be of an exceptionally high quality, rated 93/100. I wouldn’t go so far as to call a score that high to be rare, but they are uncommon. Although Medik8 suggests using it in the morning, my wife has used it now for three evenings before bedtime. The first time she applied it she commented that it gave her face a “tingling feeling,” her confirmation that it was “doing something.” She found that it absorbs quickly, and even I can see a luxurious sheen to her skin about 10 minutes after she’s applied it. Time will tell if the Serum provides, as the seller asserts, “a more youthful looking complexion.” Based on her thus far limited use of Medik8’s Super C Ferulic Serum, she seems excited about the product and is looking forward to its continued use and promised results. A quick internet search reveals that Ferulic acid is an antioxidant and found in many of the top skin care serums. Along with the fact that I have no contentions with the seller’s assertions, and moreover, our own research and my wife’s recommendation, I rate this product 5-Stars.

Clean Ingredients, Excellent Product!
As someone who's fast approaching 69 and tried countless serums over the years, including high-end ones, I can confidently say that this Medik8 Super C Ferulic Serum stands out as one of the best. Despite my usual preference for giving products at least a couple of months before forming an opinion, I was pleasantly surprised by the noticeable difference after just one use. Though slightly oily upon application, it absorbs well and leaves my skin feeling hydrated without greasiness. The slight tingling sensation reasuures me that it's actively working, and the simple, clean ingredients agree with my skin. Even after a short time, the morning glow it gives my complexion is remarkable, a glow that rivals my younger self. While no product can turn back time entirely, this serum has truly transformed my skin, erasing past issues like oily complexion, blackheads, and scarring, leaving me with a smoother, clearer canvas. Though it may be a splurge for someone on fixed income like myself, if your budget permits, I wholeheartedly recommend investing in this remarkable serum for radiant, youthful looking skin.

Integral in my skincare routine
I've been using the Medik8 Super C Ferulic serum for a couple of times a week and the results are noticeable. Initially, the 30% ethylated L-ascorbic acid made me cautious – that's a potent concentration of vitamin C! The serum has a somewhat oily texture when first applied, which I wasn’t too keen on, but it absorbed quickly and the initial feel disappeared within minutes. My skin looks brighter, and I've observed a reduction in the appearance of some dark spots that were lingering. The serum feels like it tightens my skin somewhat, which I associate with the firming action the product claims. I love that it’s research-backed; the inclusion of vitamin E and ferulic acid alongside vitamin C is supposed to pack a powerful punch against signs of aging. The dropper applicator is easy to use, and one of the best ways to keep ingredients shelf-stable. Despite the initial undesirable sensory texture, the long-term benefits seem worth it – my skin is thanking me by looking brighter and more even. It's become a great addition to my skincare routine and I'm keen to see how it continues to perform over time.
