its a good fan not what i expected a bit on the pricey side but it works well and its very durable i have knocked it over a lot and its not even got a scratch on it amazing fan

The tall nature of this fan means that perhaps it moves more air than a good quality traditional fan for a given amount of noise but its a small improvement, this unit is just as noisy as any other decent fan on higher settings. However being quite tall does mean that I can have it on a really low setting as it has a good cooling effect. The remote control is a small benefit too. The elephant in the room is the shocking price. Go find the plushest, best engineered blade fan and it will be 1/3 the price and, I'll wager, have equivalent performance and noise level.

This is the second of these fans which I have bought,and it does a great job and is very quiet.

Given the cost and the grand claims I was expecting something special. What a load of toot. Sure it looks more modern and impressive than a traditional round bladed fan if you like the look of plastic. I used this to replace a £30 screwfix fan I had cooling my server cabinet so was able to actually measure its effectiveness with the thermometer. It is rubbish and 24hrs later was back to my £30 screw fix fan which immediately brought the temperatures down by 3°. For nearly £400 there is no app control, you need clear line of sight to the base for the remote to work and it isn’t the most stable of things on a carpet with kids or pets. If you care more about aesthetic over function and have loads of money then this if for you. If you want a fan to cool, get a £30 one from screwfix
