I like to put a few crystals of menthol between my CPAP's sponge/coarse dust filter and the superfine filter I put behind the sponge. I do not "melt" it or dissolve it in anything - if I wanted a pourable form, I'd buy the pure essential oil.I chose to try this menthol most recently, and I regretted not getting the one I'd previously gotten. For one thing, the smaller crystals *stick* to the interior of the packaging - I don't know whether it's due to an electrostatic charge, or what, but it's wasteful. A user should NOT be absolutely required to "melt" the product merely to get it out of the bag, and there's no way to tell whether more is lost to heat-related evaporation or just letting the remainder remain in the discarded bag.Right now, I have the bag in the freezer to try to get lhe "stuck" crystals to separate from it. It's had partial success so far.Additionally, it's not as strong as my previous one, even using twice as much. I don't understand why; it's simply my experience so far.

It was well package and does the job well

These would not melt in my oil. I had the temp up to 180 degrees in oil and they did not melt. Menthol crystals melting point is around 107 to 115 so I don't know why they didn't melt. So I placed them in a smaller amount of oil and for them up to 185 degrees, still did not melt. I don't know what this is but I have used menthol crystals for years and know how to use them. These did not act like the normal crystals that I get. And you can't return them or get a refund.
