I’ve been using this kit for a few weeks now and I’m quite happy with how my skin feels, especially in the morning when I used to feel the driest.The Morning Dew Serum is a medium-light weight moisturizer that smooths on quickly and easily. After applying toner, I use this all over my face and neck.The Matcha & Oat Daily Moisturizer is a whip, so it’s nice and pillowy when I apply it and also absorbs nicely. I’ve had no issues applying makeup right after––in fact, it acted as a nice primer. I also didn’t need much for all-over face and neck application.The Barrier Recovery Serum is the lightest, thinest one of the four and doesn’t feel all that special. It’s suppose to be applied at night, so I do so after washing or using toner on my face, to remove dirt and oil. Then I follow with the night cream.Super Fruit Recovery Night Cream: This one is my favorite. It just feels wonderful and combined with the above serum, I wake with such healthy, bouncy skin in the morning. It visually looks better and feels better too.All together the kit definitely keeps me looking and feeling well hydrated, but even better than that I like the overall texture of my skin. I have very sensitive skin and usually break out with many other products, but not with any of these Gemini lotions.My only complaints are: value/high cost per ounce and the dispenser for the Barrier Recovery Serum. The serum is thin so it has trouble getting out of the tube and then comes out too much, making a mess. Would also be nice if at least one item in this starter kit had SPF.I would purchase again during a sale or as a splurge gift, because my skin is very happy. 😊

The first thing I noticed was the cute colors and interior design of the main box. Each product was individually boxed and so it felt like receiving more than one gift. I feel like a lot of thought and care was put into how the customers would feel when they received this set, and for my part I really loved how opening each one made me feel like I was delving into a new experience.To explain, there are 4 products in total. For daily skin care, you use the morning dew serum first and then the matcha & oat moisturizer. The serum is for the face, but the matcha cream can be used on the whole body. At night however, you switch to the barrier recovery serum (to recover after a long day) and the super fruit recovery serum. They are intended to keep your skin moist and plump looking when used this way.However, there are a few caveats with products like these. First, whether skin care products can fully absorb into the skin or not is important to see actual results. This is why products like retinol work. Your skin is retinoid-responsive so it absorbs Vitamin A completely, and you see anti-aging effects as a result. However, other products consist of components with molecule sizes too big for the skin to absorb (such as collagen, which cannot enter the skin topically). Your skin barrier is actually quite stubborn, and this is a good thing: it is keeping all the bad out. However, this also means most skin care products sit right on top of the skin and never penetrate. So in the end you simply wash all of it right off without seeing any real benefits.This is not to say products like this one aren't useful. Indeed, if you have scarring or if your skin is dry, having products that simply moisturize are beneficial to maintaining the skin barrier. But your skin needs more than just moisturizers. There are all sorts of skincare products, like facial foam cleansers and sunscreen. Having one of each type of skincare product would go a long way towards providing your skin with the ultimate protection. And for the expensive price point, I would at least feel like I was getting more bang for my buck.

I have mild rosacea and my skin is very sensitive but these are gentle and non-irritating. They provide adequate moisture and absorb well. My skin had a healthy glow afterward. I didn’t notice a scent with any of the products.The serums are more like a lightweight moisturizer, it’s not your typical liquid, they’re creamier. The morning dew serum and matcha & oat daily moisturizer absorb better than the barrier recovery serum and the super fruit night cream. Although they absorb, I could feel the moisturizer a little on my face throughout the day, and at night the products don’t quite absorb all the way, they feel mildly greasy. Eventually, they absorbed throughout the night but my forehead still had some greasiness near my hairline from the product.The morning dew serum pump was broken right out of the box, I had to twist open the cap to get the product out. The bottles feel cheap in comparison to other brands I’ve tried.Overall, this is good if you have really dry skin because it hydrates. I wouldn’t order this again because they makes my skin feel oily and I typically have normal to dry skin. It sits a little heavy on me.

I am really enjoying this Beauty Skin Care Set, it feels very luxurious. The set comes with 4 different products... Barrier Recovery Serum, Super Fruit Recovery Night Cream, Morning Dew Serum, and Matcha & Oat Daily Moisturizer. The directions listed on the box are very clear and easy to understand. I've been using this for a week now and my skin definitely feel more hydrated and smooth. 2 of the of the serum/cream are to use in the evening while the other 2 (serum/moisturizer) in the morning. I usually find that my skin feels very dry in the morning but these nightly routine have really helped my skin. The morning dew feels very light and goes on easy...follow that with the matcha/oat moisturizer...my face is happy.

So, I have tried out each product in this set and they’re all great individually. My issue is that all of them are too similar to each other to be included in the same set. This collection appears to be meant to be a gift set, so why not a cleanser, a serum, a moisturizer, and a toner or something? I will probably continue using one or two of these but not all.
