sure, I've used in tight drains.. Is magnetic though and pincher is pretty strong if you fully release the button. Great tool to have handy as I've retrieved a few things since purchases. It's nice quality..

How much weight can it hold? Full 12oz. Water bottle?

It holds a good amount claws or just the magnet itself holds up pretty good. Haven’t failed me yet and no complaints so far

What is the largest diameter object this can grasp?

I retrieved a hat that had fallen off the front seat of my car. I also retrieved a small purse!

Is this flexible enough so that it can be bent in half to fit in a toolbox?

It is not quite that flexible. It will not do a “u-turn” however some flexibility is there.
