Good product
Helped me a lot to sort out the problem of fixing the socket

Great item but hard to use for average person
Good quality as described. The main issue is that the screw is too long and not the standard size/thickness. Therefore, you can't use the old one if needed. On the other hand, the provided "wrench 🔧" is not practical to use so you need your own plier/tool to tighten it up.

Excellent - rescues damaged plastic back boxes UK size
Thank you for this product. It works! I had damaged the left side lug of the back box when fitting a new plug socket. I tried different techniques and products but it seemed unlike the metal ones, plastic back boxes can't be repaired. I ordered the all metal version as a last resort.I wanted to avoid calling an electrician as replacing the box would involve damaging the tiled wall.It took some time to adjust the rod but eventually it securely held the screw on the left side.

For socket
Not tried yet but looks ok

Easy to use
These work well on metal boxes with holes in corners, some boxes don’t have holes and may not grip as tight and won’t work well when tightened.

Not very well finished
Not compactable with the fine thread of normal sockets feels very loose and only a couple of biting threadsBulky and fouls the receiving socket.Had to change and break out for new box

fiddly
fiddly , but work well when its in the box tight

Maybe not for sockets
Maybe I’m doing something wrong but these don’t hold too well, there ok for switches but wouldn’t use them on plugs sockets because you would probably pull the socket away
