This is a good quality thick silicone floor mat with a raised lip around the edge to catch spills and protect the floor. It has multiple potential uses. I got it for a mini fridge, which works fine because once in place, a small mini fridge can be easily lifted and placed on top of it. The mat stays in place, so would be difficult to slide on the floor if needed. It also would work well under a washing machine, which can be notorious for occasionally having a hose leak, as well as for a catch under a small sink where pipes can start dripping, or under a mini indoor greenhouse with plants in case any water or dirt spill out.

It does the job & stops water from escaping - mostly. This rubber mat works great for indoor gardening. It's a little too floppy for high foot-traffic areas, one step on the edge there & water will spill out (if that's what you're using it for). But its flexibility's great if you wanna line a box or something. You can bend it to your will.Pros:- Lightweight- Super floppy- Easily moveable- Stops water & debris from going all over the place* (see below)Cons:- It's so lightweight that the raised edge will fold over with minimal pressure. So if you kick it or step on it, it's gonna spill.Again, it's not flimsy - the rubber's strong & durable. I don't see it breaking down any time soon. I love it for gardening.

This looks almost like a big tray. It is more like a rubber mat with a raised lip. It arrives compressed and can easily be unfolded and rolled back up. It's floppy.I have placed this in the bottom of a closet that abuts our air handler room. We had a disastrous leak once and I have wanted to protect the things on the floor of the closet from moisture ever since but didn't know what to use. So I kept everything in hefty bags. When I saw this I knew it would do the trick! It's just the right size. But be advised that it is very flexible and bendable. so if containing moisture leaks is of paramount concern to you, you may want to find something that won't accidentally flatten, buckle or crimp, which this will easily do.For my needs it's great. I expect it to last a long time from the look and feel of it.

I ordered this silicone mat for my electric smoker to prevent stains on the patio & concrete. Very good quality mat and useful for so many applications. Thick material with a nice lip to retain any spills.
