A good read, lots of information and very easy to understand. I love Charlotte mason

I’ve read this, and I still don’t understand her definition of a living book, and how you would apply that to modern books. What she describes as twaddle and what she describes as good books seems like personal opinion, as I remember reading a few of her recommendations as a child and thinking they were pretty average.Apart from ‘children should learn to love reading and should read decent books’, there isn’t that much more to it. And her description of how to make children remember the books would just instill a deep hatred of reading, if it was me. I loved reading as a child, and still educate myself constantly through books, so I agree how important it is, especially with the internet providing true twaddle for people to read today.
