Bought this to save money on my laundry, as I live in an RV.This thing is very nice. Well made. The quality is very high, and it looks great.This takes a long time to dry clothes, but I have been putting several shirts, jeans, underwear etc. in it. If you use as intended the dry time will be much lower. It all depends on how much time you have.Overall it's very clever. My complaints about this unit are small. A little more wattage into the heater and this would be awesomer. Great size for stowage. Good fit and finish. Actual mechanical timer. There doesn't seem to be a way to cancel a heat cycle - so if you set this late it will ring while you're sleeping. Fair warning! :)

Ive used this thing a few times now, and heres my experience: I hand wash all my laundry, and I have a spin dryer that gets out all the excess water. So, when I put any items in this dryer, they are damp, but not wet.1. It takes the same amount to dry as it does air drying. Ive been putting in three items at a time, with some items getting air dried, and it takes the same amount of time to dry inside this dryer as it does outside the dryer.2. I think its useful for softening some items and removing some wrinkles. i.e the sweater dried in here is a little softer with fewer wrinkles than an air dried sweater.If you hand wash, its a decent item to have at your disposal, but I'd recommend getting it on sale. I got it for half off when I purchased it. You definitely need a spin dryer or something that gets out all the excess water, I dont think this dryer could handle anything that was sopping wet.UPDATE: Ive used this thing weekly since I bought it (over 2 months now), no problems. I usually stick 3 items in there at a time (usually t-shirts or handtowels) - it does what I need it to do.

Tried another dryer and it was awful. Then purchased this one, complete opposite. Highly recommend. Dries clothes quickly and easy to set up

Like the other review said, the rim of the bag is very difficult to put on, it's like a steel wire inside of the sewing that does not match the shape of the heater.The heat fan was not very high temperature, I would say it's like warm. It took well over 30 minutes to get one damped sweater almost dry.Feels like it could only be good for small stuff like underwear and socks.

For a quick dry of items washed by hand or if you have a washer but no dryer, this works great. I dried 3 pants and I was surprised how well it dried them.
